Dear God,I'm 40 today and I hate the life you have given me. This isn't living. Being dead is better than this. Haba God, after my sacrifice, after serving you in truth and in spirit. You bring me shame? I have no money, no kids, no husband and you want me to continue serving u. Haha, you are joking right?
From 18, I served your church till now, when my mates were busy having sex with their future husbands I was in church for praise and worship, cleaning chairs, going for revival, visitation, paying my tithes. etc. Continue...

Negotiate with Boko Haram - Gov Shettima tells President Jonathan
The Governor of Borno state, Kashim Shettima has asked
President Jonathan to negotiate with Boko Haram men if that is what it will
take to release the abducted Chibok girls. Governor Shettima made this remark during an interview with CNN's Christiane Amanpour last night.
"The issue of not negotiation with the terrorists – it’s out of the question. If it means talking to the devil, it means the devil can come down, we can get back our girls. The group that kidnapped the girls are a bunch of raving lunatics.
"Do we have any other option? If I have to talk to the devil to secure the release of the girls, I will do so. President Jonathan did not act on time and did not talk to me over the kidnappings until 19 days after.’’He also said for the first three weeks after the girls were abducted, the whole thing was politicized.
Also speaking, a woman leader of the All Progressive
Party Sharon Ikeazor said the situation could have been salvaged on
time if the President had acted immediately. She said the girls had
their cellphones with them and had contacted their parents about their
abduction.

A Court of Appeal sitting in Benin city the Edo state capital today

laundering leveled against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes
Commission. The Judgement was unanimously given by a 3-man panel
made up of Justice Ibrhahim Saulawa, Justices P. M Ekpe and H. A Barka.

Jay Z, Beyonce and Solange release statement on elevator fight!
Beyonce and Jay Z are known to not respond to gossip or speculations in the media but I guess this time it's too serious to ignore. The couple just released a statement to Associated Press. Read below
"As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident. But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it.
Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family.
The reports of Solange being intoxicated or displaying erratic behavior throughout that evening are simply false. At the end of the day families have problems and we're no different. We love each other and above all we are family. We've put this behind us and hope everyone else will do the same."

The School's VC Prof. Ayo Olukoju announced today that the school will be shut down temporarily but will re-open on June 2nd. Speaking to Punch about the decision, Prof Olukoju said;
The School's VC Prof. Ayo Olukoju announced today that the school will be shut down temporarily but will re-open on June 2nd. Speaking to Punch about the decision, Prof Olukoju said;
“We have rules and regulations in the school and all the students agreed to abide by them. These rules are in the student handout. Before now, we have been applying appropriate sanctions against students who default in any of these rules. We wanted to enforce one of such sanctions on Wednesday before this crisis escalated. Please, the crisis has nothing to do with religion. It has nothing to do with being a Christian or a Muslim. People, especially female students even went to their worship centres on campus on Wednesday to pray after the incident. Again, I tell you this action was carried out by the male students alone.”See more pics from the damage the rampaging students caused, after the cut...

Negotiating With Terrorists: Let The Chibok Parents Decide
Another article written by Dr. Peregrino Brimah. Read below and tell us if you agree with him...
We have come to the conclusion that the only legitimate option for the government of Nigeria in the predicament of the abducted 234 Chibok girls is to entrust the decision to negotiate with the terrorists to the parents of the girls.
We advise the Federal government of Nigeria to host a meeting of all affected parents for them to make a decision on what course of action Nigeria should take in handling the release of their wards. This recommendation is in the best interest of the nation and the direct victims of our failure. This decision on the next course of action is made with due consideration of the reality that the government of Nigeria, based on the history of its dealings with Boko Haram, leading up to this notable abduction, has lost the credibility to make this decision on behalf of the victims. The Nigerian civilians are the only entity endowed with the credibility, responsibility and authority to decide in this matter.

President Jonathan to visit Chibok this Friday

New father kills his 5-week-old son by slamming his face into a cot

A new father killed his five-week-old son because he felt fatherhood meant 'his life was over', a UK court heard today. Matthew Wickens, 24, lost his temper when he was left alone with baby Riley Gardener at the family home in Paignton, Devon.
He shook his son, before slamming his face into a cot - causing him to suffer severe head injuries.
He then repeatedly lied about what he had done - and even tried to cover up the baby's injuries by putting a hat on him. His
lies meant Riley's mother, Gemma Gardener, became a suspect and was
forced to give up their other son, Jayden, for 14 months. Continue...
