God will help us on Nigeria the aviation sector is hell fire
Thank God... dee
Thank God
thank God for averting this terrible incident
Thank God it landed safely.
As an aviation person myself, I'll say this is too much. If a wheel was lost, there should be fire around the airplane from screeching, so I don't believe that. Lost/torn wing? Are they doing maintenance checks of these aircraft at all? My first thought is missing rivets or corrosion issue. The NCAA should ground all Aero Contractors flight for safety reasons. Letting them fly is endangering the lives of passengers.
God be praised!
Thank God For dere lives
Tank God dey landed cos worse tins coulda happened .
thank God for the safety of the people
Thank God. Don't like. Dis aero a bit, hmmmm it's well
Thank God for safe landing.

Expired Old plane..it has served more than enough
Thank God o,some pple go don cry full bucket, lol.
If pilot lost control, wld u still b alive?
MAINTENANCE CULTURE IS LOST ON NIGERIAN BUSINESS COMMUNITY ESPECIALLY WITH THE AIRLINES. ARIK IS THE WORST. DUPING PEOPLE OF THEIR HARD EARNED FARES WHENEVER THEY CANCELLED FLIGHTS. NOBODY IS TALKING NOW UNTIL THERE IS ANOTHER CARNAGE. MAY GOD DELIVER US FROM SETTLEMENTS (BRIBERY) IN THE INDUSTRY.
Nawaaa ooo thank God for their lives
To God be the glory, what could we have done if
It happened
I have some of my officers coming from lagos to Abuja for a program in that plane. Thank God nothing happened.
Jehova bu Eze!!!!!!
Hmm..this same aircraft...
People still fly aero? Hian! ThankGod no life was lost.
Thank God.
>>> all these very old aero planes sef....
Thank GOD for His grace
If the pilot actually lost control, you wont be alive to say 'the pilot lost control'
All praises belong to God this was a close call. I hope we won't hear of an aviation tragedy soon, it seems airlines are slipping up
Thank God o
Thank God o
Thank God for his mercies
I have stopped going with aero for a long time, recently they have been careless and not functional
Hmmmm, Linda and naija pple! How can an airplane loose control and still land safely? Una well done o
And I still flew aero contractors from accra last night x__x
Jesus christ Linda!!! This was the same flight I used From lagos to ph last 2 weeks Friday, midway pilot lost control, we descended suddenly, one of the Flight attendants fell on the floor, everyone was screaming, praying, crying, people held on to one another, one woman held her child crying, Linda I saw my life flash before my eyes.. I prayed for forgiveness of my sin.. cos I was sure we were gonna crash.. but the pilot finally got control, we didn't stop praying till we landed.. and this same plane again.. this is how they play with lives in Nigeria!!! Such a shame
Nawa
Nawa
Na wa o! With maintenance how could this be missed. Here goes the last airline with seeming standard
Lord help us
Thank God no life was lost.

Thank God for their Life,Kaiii
Very sad.......not again in this country.
Thank God nothing happend!!
Aero again? Blood suckers. I so hate this flight
Haba! Wing fell off and the aircraft landed? Naija and gist. Pure exaggeration.
Aero is a tragedy waiting to happen, stay away people.
Same flight or same aircraft? No details and yet you know. Even with a car you will check the number
Surely your ignorance knows no bounds. How did you know it's the same aircraft? Are you aware that aircrafts have registration numbers just like cars? Do you know where they are written on the airplane? Do you even know what really happened on your flight few weeks ago? What you experienced was TURBULENCE; Google is your friend, check the word out. As for this emergency landing tonight, let's wait for NCAA to release information not a passenger's exaggeration nor the airline's account.
How can the wing of a plane tear into two, and is still able to land? or you loose the wheel of a tire? please lets us know the true story of situations before posting or commenting. Thank God there was no bad news.
Aero again...
How can a passenger be the one to notice a bad wing?.... like seriously...
The plane has monitors that shld access all the compactments of the plane and alert any malfunction including a bad or flat tire...
Aero really needs to get their shit together, they are too money concerned
Linda, I ask again. How can a pilot lost control and land safely in lagos. Took some minutes for d stairs to come come and a bus to pick passengers. Can we for once read books and be a little enlightened on issues like dse?
How are you so sure it is same flight?
Wow!!....tnk God for safe landing
I don't understand why you made this comment. You dont like flying with them because you ve never flown. Cos what happened today can happen to any aircraft. Google more and get more infos on even the best airlines in the world. Olodo
Avation ministry is doing nothing in this country. And it has to do with people's life. Na wa oo
@NCAA grounding all aero flights, I strongly disagree with you. I thought you said you're an aviation person? What should be the basis of grounding? Don't you know how most passengers can exaggerate? Maybe you should ask your colleagues in the cabin. Let's wait, the full truth will be out soon cos even if the airline decides to tone down what happened, NCAA won't. Don't make me believe your suggestion as per grounding is out of beef o!
Dat is why u are wasting away on linda while ur mate's are making millions.shallow fool
Oluwa e she ooooooo. Thank You Jesus
Our domestic flight in this country is just a risk. I have stopped flying aero and arik. For now,I use Air peace because I learnt it began operation last October and so far, their flight has been smooth. No rusty part or noisy engine. More importantly, only God can save
Hello please can I ask u a question and please I want precise answers. When u loose a tyre on finals what do u do? Take off or abort landing and run into d road and go ahead and kill people, please answer mi.The Captain lost a tyre just on his last taxi meter before take off, d best he could do is what he did take off make a turn and land, opposite him wus Total,Mobil tank oil pipe installations and d perimeter fence of d airport, if he had aborted d it @ d point of no return on d run way dis is not what we will b saying Mr.Aviation personel.D debris of d trye is what hit d d wings and please if d wings where broken as d passenger stated d plane would ve skinned mid air into take off, obviously d flaps being retracted is what wus seen to suggest. D wings where damaged, if ur wings r damaged u won't b able to turn and realign and land.We should thank God that d Pilot remembered his procedures, if he had decided to go d way of d associated Pilot and Dana Pilot then we could ve comfortably blame d airline. Also tyres can burst @ anytime as a result of pressure, foreign objects on d runway, heat, manufactures error, negligence on d part of airline, captain or technical crew, anything can lead to this so please tell mi if d Pilot lost control of his procedure and d plane please can u tell us how d plane landed. As much flights r meant to b pleasurable without hiccups when issues like dis happen if it is managed properly we should applaud where to applaud and criticise where to criticise being subjective in judgement will not help. Emirate had d same issue last year @ d international wing of Murtala Muhammed airport last year nobody said anything, now an indigenous airline with over 53 yrs of safety track record of no crash has an incident that wus professionally managed so as to lead to lost of lives and properties u come and say NCAA should ground Aero haba Mr Aviation person take m easy, as much as it's not a pleasurable experience to have passengers go through such experience, what happened to flying ur passengers safely.Dats just what d pilot has exhibited today he to doesn't want to die now.Now it's high d Government as a matter of urgency convey a meeting with all d airlines that r under d government through AMCON to implement a blueprint that will enhance d operations of d airlines in Nigeria, This airlines should b given credit for operating under hash government policies over d years and as such should b aided before we witness another liquidation of airlines thereby leading to Job loss.
Thank u @anon 8:18pm. Dumb pple in dis country and Linda encourages dem
Aero is still the safest for mii in term of aviation travels what we should b concerned about is the plane landed safely it's an aviation problem not just an airline issue
God I thank u For saving my husband and other passengers.
I was on this flight...it wasn't even funny a bit, we later got to notice that the flight wasn't even serviced a bit before taking off...thank God for our lives.
.. I flew lag to abj last night in NG127. God dey.
OMG..........baba God thank you for saving their lives
@tony fash, so u no say na God dey save. Death can come anytime. Planes have landed on people who had no business flying and were minding their own businesses on ground. Bottom line, hand over your entire life to God Almighty and pray always because plane wey go crash go crash be it aero, arik or air peace wey u don dey patronize. Live everyday like it's gonna be ur last, difficult but true cos no one knows tomorrow except d Almighty Creator, Olodumare, Chukwu.
As stupid as you all anon sound, won't waste a time answering you. You were not on that flight so you can't talk.. and dt idiot dt said surely your ignorance knows no bound. I pray either u or ur family members experience wat we all did, then let's see if u'll say it's turbulence.. that's if you are alive!!! Bloody fools!!! Its people like u that are the problem with this country. I remember a day before that Dana crash, a friend of mine used that aircraft from lag to abj and complained about their experience and how they were all relieved when the plane landed.. fools like u shut him up!!! What was the result the next day. We say the govt is our problem, the truth is it starts with us actually, instead of talking about this issue so the appropriate authorities will look into it.. no fools like you will come here and start talking rubbish!!! Well till it happens to you or your loved one maybe then and just then you'll know what ignorance is... bastards!!!
With due regards, did u just refer that aero contractors have a 53 years of safety track record? ??please check again .one of their flights had crashed before.
This is scary. My BP go just rise
This is how the aero contractors staffs on LIB will be defending and asking "how are you so sure" until it happens. (May God forbid) someone narrates her encounter, instead of "us" to drop sentiments and encourage aero to up their maintenance, we are busy defending.
may God have mercy on us!
<< LIB Addict >>
Thank God no life was lost
Olodo."@u hate the flight" or aircraft. All this pips that fly once in 5yrs wil still talk
She meant aero airline and not the same plane. We thank God for save landing.
To the two Anons, I still hold my stance on grounding the aircraft until there is investigation done to know what led to the damaged wings.
I'm not a pilot just an engineer but I would have done a RTO ( rejected takeoff) at landing. My option would have been to land on the belly of my aircraft than to snap the landing gear of the aircraft and damaged the aircraft extensively. Either landing method would damage the aircraft. I still maintain a missing rivet could have caused the aircraft skin to rip based on the passengers comments. I also do agree the pilot did an excellent job landing the aircraft without the aircraft bursting in flame from friction. With a hard landing surface. Saving jobs or saving passengers, let's be careful where we lean, in an attempt to save a company.
Funny when things happen, unenlightened people make certain comments. How did Mr anonymous know airplane was not serviced? How is an airplane serviced. Lol. Opportunity for some to advertise air peace which was set up by mama peace with our stolen money. FYI only aero and arik have maintenance hangars of them all and besides your so called air peace use same b737 500 as aero. They even changed the tips of the wing to the more recent winglet type to deceive people with little understanding like you. The fact that aero has over 50 years safety record should make you commend them and read though comments without bias.
Just like the tyre of your car can pick up an object or develop any kind of fault, same can happen to that of an aircraft. If this happens on the final take off roll, an expert pilot will take off, go around and come back to land. Considering the weight of the airplane, this would make the tyre burst as a result of impact which leads to debris being seen. If the aircraft wing was indeed damaged, there will be fire as the wings houses the fuel. Let's always get the facts right and commend the aviators for surviving very hash conditions.
I was on that flight, it was chaotic in the cabin I must but I give it to aero crew anyday. Calm and no loss of control as claimed by our esteemed fellow pas
Well spoken, words are direct and factual, not d silly retorts I Ave been reading, still lookinglfor picture of d missing wing to buttress d headline
Pls stop exaggerating, stick to facts.
Serviced? Pls kindly. Give us professional details of what you mean by" wasn't even serviced"
I was on board the flight and must confess it was chaotic. As a frequent flyer and one with some form of understanding of the dynamics. I knew if it was going to happen, we will be briefed of a crash landing NOT precautionary landing. The calmness in the briefing and the look on the face of the cabin crew told me there wouldn't be the sort of emergency that would lead to death, explosion or rapid disembarkation using a slide or the over wing exit. As far as a stair was used, it's an indication that the situation wasn't as bad as being bandied around. It is important that we as travellers educate ourselves more on what to watch out for when we fly. Aircraft serviceability is dependent on engine cycles and if properly maintained can be operated for years and when it's time to remove them from the system, Boeing does have a record of all their manufactured aircrafts flying and their state. Go to the US and Europe they still fly aircrafts older than the ones we have here within their countries. Emirates had the same tyre issues last year here in Nigeria, no one called for their grounding. What about the Malaysian airplane that disappeared? Isn't it new generation plane? The french one that crashed... how about that? We have some of the best crew in the world and our airlines especially aero isn't doing badly. LET'S ALWAYS GET THE FACTS RIGHT AND MAY GOD CONTINUE TO MAKE OUR SKIES SAFE!
Old airplanes
We thank God for his mercy endureth forever more.Thank you Jesus.
Thank God may Allah continue to guide and protect the aviation industry
NG 127 was given. I'm sure she/he has flown b4 and has experienced a turbulence so ds person knows what he/she is saying
They should ban the use of second hand planes or at least put a year limit to the ones one can use, cos we are talking about planes here not cars!
U don't reject ur take off on finals when d consequences is grave, also u take into consideration d length of d aircraft and what lies ahead of u should u abort ur take off. This aircraft in question from the picture should b a 400 series, and also what do u have around ur run way in lagos on both sides houses, encroachment that can b fatal and hazardous should he ve aborted his take of on his finals,Two r u aware dat d fire fighters where already aware of his coming back to land after he had communicated with ATC his situation @ dat time, u r an engineer u talk about belly landing when u don't even know whether his front landing gear had collapsed fully to suggest he should belly land.Am sure d surface of the run way must ve being made wet by fire service to suggest he could land, from d pix his nose wheel did not collapse to suggest he should belly land. Now for d damaged wing, there is no way a Pilot will fly with a cracked or broken wing, it's obvious it's d debris of d tyre contisderiang which of d landing gears that for burst that cracked d wings,And as regards one of their planes being involved in a cash in their safety record, non If u r referring to d Jos incident 4 years ago, by our standard and ratings that is not a crash, the aircraft landed and went of d run way in Jos only for d Pilot to b able to bring d aircraft back to run way without damaging anything major other than engine panel, Crashes are measured by the degree of outcomes surrounding it this particular did not meet the requirements to b termed a crash d aircraft landed normally but due to heavy rain and poor aircraft facilities @ d Jos airport it went of course but wus properly managed back into d run way.As concerned as u r Mr Engineer ,we in d investigation unit r equally concerned but in investigation we d joy is when an aircraft has problems like dis and it doesn't lead to a crash then u can comfortably extract d much needed information from d living and not d dead to b able to make findings and recommendation. We where so happy d Pilot adhered to d SOP of his company as contained in d ICAO act guiding SOP's in Take off and Landing Sequence,we r equally happy that it shows that Nigerian Pilots when they go to seem they bring back all they ve learnt in their SIM classes it will interest u that d whole of last year this wus the procedure virtually very Pilot flying in NIgeria wus made to undergo in their flight simulation class.Once again I sympathise with d entire passengers and even d airline it's self d cockpit crew and cabin crew, but we should thank God, God gave d Captain the bravura to act right on dis occasion. The Captain dis save both lives and jobs, so let the government come in with d right investors to save d industry.Have a nice day Sir
Aero is always in the news for things like this. The plane I flew in on Saturday morning to abuja from lagos didn't look any better. NG122. Thank God for life oooo
I feel bad for you. Your name should be 'bad belle' not 'black belle'. Clearly you are clueless about the aviation industry. Goodluck being a passenger on Peace Mass Transit and Co.
Yet you have a username that edifies God's spirit. SMH
I was in this flight NG127 it wasn't funny i never believed we would land safely at all. I looked into my innocent baby's eyes I wept cos I brought him in. But thank God. The wing broke partly and when we landed the wheel broke. The plane vibrated so much like it was tearing apart. In all I thank God.
Long live aero thank God
