The Magnificent Return of Saro, The Musical 2 this Easter! April 1-6, 2015 Shell Hall Muson Centre

Saro – a Bolanle Austen-Peters production – will be returning this Easter, along with its talented 100-person cast and crew who will be delivering another superbly crafted and unmatched theatrical event starring some of the finest talent in Nigerian theater such as Gideon Okeke, Bimbo Manuel, Dolapo Oni, Patrick Diabuah, Ade Laoye, Lami Phillips, Paul Alumona and Paolo Sisiano.


The city of Lagos is about to be ablaze with excitement as Saro,The Musical prepares for a special Easter comeback! For 6 whole days this April, the critically acclaimed Saro, The Musical will be staging a magnificent return to theatre to thrill once again with a spectacular theatrical showcase of music, dance, and drama.

Returning by widespread popular demand – its Christmas tour recorded unprecedented shows, with over 8000 people seeing the show – no other theatre performance has recorded such attendance in Nigeria's history.

Saro tells the story of four young people who embark on a life-changing odyssey to Lagos with very little but an abundance of hope and dreams, only to be duly reoriented by the experiences and people they encounter on their journey of self-realization. Weaving together the trials, misfortunes, loves, and destinies of the foursome into a 14 act masterpiece, Saro tells the inspiring story of the journey to success in a harsh, unwelcoming city; as we see Lagos personified by numerous colorful and unforgettable characters, frenetic pace of living, and endless drama.
