Twitter user reveals the current state of Ibadan airport (photos)

How can this be an airport in a country like Nigeria? When photos of the under developed airport hit the net late 2013, people assumed that there will be a change in its infrastructure soon. Well, it looks nothing much has changed. The more we highlight this, the more the government is pushed to do something about it. More pics after the cut...

Anonymous said...

The makeshift facilities are to allow operations (arrival & departure) to still go on while the renovation works are going. This is to avoid compete shut down of the airport. Please lets report things accurately. Someone should snap the entire airport area and post

You are a rotten liar. New building that has been abandoned. We have been hearing 95 percent for over a year now.
Same thing in ph airport. When Amaechi complained we though it was his usual plenty talk. Even the departure that was completed in ph is an eyesore. WCs broken from fay one and wires hanging all over.
The arrival had long been abandoned and the tents in ibadan are a normal scene in ph.
Stella Oduah will not die a peaceful death.
A woman that could not even fix MMIA

Anonymous said...

Shameless liar promoting mediocrity and clueless failure.
Take a trip to decent places and see what happens when an airport is being renovated. Not these kiosks and interhouse sports tents your mentors have erected here. To see you defend mediocrity with what I assume is your real name is proof that your conscience is long dead.

Anonymous said...

It's federal government job to fix the airport. Seek info before you talk next time.

Anonymous said...

When did airports become the responsibilty of the state government? How pathetic to comment on the polity when you are as clueless as the first lady! Get your facts right next time!

Anonymous said...

You be better fool... Who builds airports ?? The president or the state government ??
