Fayose is fighting for himself.. his destiny is tied to this coming election, he has so much impeachable offenses against a state house of assembly of 70% APC.. dirty politicians.

Well whoever you are, this particular comment of yours is incredibly stupid, useless and of no importance. To this post whatsoever

PunchAdvertonGMB: Looks like Nigerians will still rather vote a GMB on sick bed than a GEJ on a squash court; though I must confess that even for Fayose usual imbecile-level of intelligence, this is a new low!!! KS

Anonymous 2:37 Do you really love Nigeria? Or are you just okay with how the country is being run to the ground.i guess you are so dumb because you don't know that a disease cannot be treated unless all the symptoms are figured out.stop making this issue about Parties and geographical regions. It should be about every Nigeria and if we are pleased with the way and manner the country is being run by our electives.

This distasteful act of desperation will not stop the inevitable #change that is on the way. Shame on you #thepunch you lack ethics

I have known Fayose since way back when he used to sell tokunbo cars in Sabo at Ibadan and I can tell you categorically that he has mental problem.

Totally repugnant and done in bad taste. Anyway one does not expect anything less from this tout and motor park governor. This is quite callous and mean. No sense involved at all.

Let d so called nigerians shut up joor. Hypocrites. Fayose said d truth. Kudos

Anonymous said...

its quite absurd,it show that PDP is looking for every means possible to cause confusion so that this election will not hold but God pass them.We are voting them out

Fayose, the "Gorilla democracy" advocate needs to be checked.
He supports bribery, misrepresentation, intimidation, violence, rigging and assassinations. He is a beneficiary of this form of democracy.
He represents all that is presently wrong with his party (PDP) and the present regime

Pororo said...

Ekiti state was delivered to Fayose through bribery, misrepresentation, intimidation, violence, rigging and assassinations.
He desperately wants to pay GEJ back the same way.

Nigeria Decides 2015
Anyone whose tool of campaign is to paint opposition party as being bad, full of criminals and no-do-gooders is playing with the old scripts because some of us are more informed and could see through the smokescreen better this year than previous election years.
If all the people in APC were formally in PDP (which is not true) and you consider them as past criminals, that would mean two of many things:
a. PDP is the nest and factory of criminals. Hence PDP is still a bad sell.
b. The defectors are turning a new leaf and aligning with different political ideology.

My opinion is that the current day politics in Nigeria is full of people seeking ways to enrich themselves with our Commonwealth. So PDP and APC have similar coloring in many respect.
1. But what i observed is that the crust of APC made up of South west states are having a good showing in terms of infrastructures over this past 16 years.
2. Every politician in LG, SG, & FG have used the wealth to enrich themselves both APC and PDP. If APC had no Tinubu, a major culprit in embezzlements, Nigeria would still remain a one party system. By now everyone would have endorsed Jonathan for 2015. His dodgedness and ingenuity coupled with his well oiled money machine in Lagos ensured that the opposition could be a potent challenger to the Federal power. His war chest is the Lagos money, and to me he has enriched himself too much but I see more development in Lagos than other places so what is done with it is little price for what PDP led gov is costing the whole Nation.
3. Nigeria's budget has almost quadruppled since GEJ assume office. PDP has been dominated over time by Corporate thieves, Refined Militants and economic cabals who now grab the Nations resources at the jugular. They have been collecting money for same federal projects for years, have inflated subsidy money, bought the National corporations e.g. Refineries, NEPA, Nitel etc and would not like to see things work. So a change of status quo would deny them their ill gotten wealth.
4. Jonathan and PDP further led Nigeria on a divisive, ethnic and religion based electioneering ever experienced in Nigeria in its 16 yearw of returning to democracy. We have not been so divided and intolerant of other tribes, religion or political party. Every problem faced by GEJ govt was blamed on the opposition. The president said he was incapacitated by internal and external detractors. As if we dont deal with internal and external distractions in our daily lives as individuals in career, family or businesses. If it was so easy to lead a 150+ million people then we could as well a Teenager in power. You have all states resources to control for 6 yrs and detractors could not deny you N1billion feeding budget or 4billion private jets
5. Case of Wendell Simlin, At a stage in this insurgency problems a certain Reno Omokri created a fake account to send emails to Media houses accusing ex-CBN governor as the financier of Boko Haram just because he said there was a missing N20b btw FG and NNPC. Instead of tackling the insecurity the government kept contradicting itself ane dividing us all through cooked up stories and uncouthed utterances. Ex militants like Tompolo became the ones procuring our weapons, supervising the lifting of crude oil etc
6. Defectors may abound in the new party but the ranks of the major leaders are from ACN and CPC. Yes Amaechi is heading the Buhari Campaign team and Okorocha is also supporting but the personality of the office contender is what I am concerned about in 2015. I would have preferred a PDP guy in Lagos for 2015 but even the policy he is pushing forward such as closing the Lekki Toll begs for clarity. Bereft of sound economic, legal and social rationale.

WHY GEJ DO NOT DESERVE ANOTHER 4 YEARS
He is the incumbent whose tenure has been most dramatic in Nigeria's democracy in my opinion. He embarked on a Transformation agenda - constructed some roads, resuscitated the railway and some airports around the country albeit at huge inflated costs. More like Transformation abracadabra
1. He got into the position by sheer Providence, death of Y'Adua.
2. Contested and won in 2011 largely based on his being from the minority, the Name-Goodluck and his sensational story of No shoes to Presidency. Some of us didn't buy that then and still dont but Nigerians love it that someone with an history of lack and poverty has risen to the highest and as such would know how to take away all their suffering with his Goodluck.
3. He attested to the fact that his election was frayed with irregularities and shortcomings. Promised to make up for us. He was largely supported by petroleum cabals who inflated the subsidy scam figure to trillions to campaign for him and FG almost went bankrupt.
4. He gave a new year gift in 2012, an increase in fuel price to be able to cater for the incessant demands of the cabals who wanted a money recovery.
5. Tempers flared in the North due to the election irregularities, the federal government could not secure the safety of the christians and ordinary citizens. Many of angry youths became easy target for Boko Haram recruiters. The blame was lodged at the feet of Buhari and his inflammatory utterances during campaign not the ones by Dokubo or other GEJ militants. The FG failed to curtail the riots for days
6. Appointment of people who eventually mismanaged money with extra budget spendings, defence of such ppl by GEJ when they deserved to be relieved
7. Strikes by ASUU, ASUP etc which became one of the longest in the history of Nigeria. GEJ eidnt see any urgency.
8. Campaign when the nation is going thru shocks from Boko Haram attacks.
9. Admitting that Boko Haram are in his govt with no decisive action to identify and prosecute them. Now we know its not the opposition cos Cameroonians are being kidnapped too.
10. Being very religious but with little or no demonstration of even the basic tenets of Christianity such as righteousness, fairness and love for enemies. Pardon for well known political criminals, appointment of some as political campaign chiefs. Admitting there is corruption with no concrete plan to mitigate it. Saying Stealing is not corruption
11. Being very unperturbed by the news of kidnapped girls and many others claiming it was as a scam designed to discredit his government. No response was attempted until the possibility of rescue was gone. He only believed the girls were kidnapped almost 30 days later.
12. Employment promises and the immigration scandals are sorry memories
13. The rule of law even in the simplest of committee and legislative was thrown away. The minority now wins in voting when GEJ is backing the minority. Ekiti et al
14. He re-awarded the Lagos-ibadan expressway in billions to Berger and others but they still haven't done 20 kilometers with billions down the drain.

Quite a lot to list but we all can fill the gaps

Let's stay with facts not sentimental, ethno-religious propaganda

Nothing is wrong with the advert, GEJ is the best President this country has had in this democratic dispensation he has given all a sense of belonging. The only dent on his reputation is the Boko haram crisis which this country will not be able to solve unless the people of the NEast resolve to assist the relevant agencies with information that will assist in rooting out these terrible individuals. Nigeria has been bad for a long time and can't be fixed in 6years the questions you ask determine the answers try asking "what has GEJ not done" Nigeria does not end in lagos or ibadan if you speak for yourself you may wish to go to other area's and ask for improvement. GEJ is the man the Northerners can wait

Honestly am not surprise with Fayose's advert, it's very thought of a tug and un repented low esteem governor whom has been displaying his immature attitude since the inception of his administration, it is rather unfortunate on the way and manner at which Ayo Fayose has been a source of disgrace to Ekiti Parapo and Yoruba race, with this his (Fayose) advert, I swear I will never cast my vote for GEJ but rather GMB. I now believe we really need change.

Anonymous said...

I don't blame Fayose but punch newspapers, which has lost the ethics of journalism.

Even if GMB should kill my father a day to election, I will still vote for him...GEJ must go!!!
