It was a great event!
It started off with a performance by Tiwa Savage, she did a medley of her songs and got Mo Abudu dancing. Basket Mouth was the compere and held his own quite well.
After Tiwa Ara came with her talking drum aided by the ageless Yinka Davids.
Yinka David's performed her set after that and it was epic.
Awards were given out and Chigurl got the sisterhood award for best comedian.
Chee the glo ambassador performed Pharrel's 'Happy' hitting every note perfectly.
Waje performed 'I wish' and a cover song for Mo Abudu too. She didn't disappoint at all.
Sheyi Shay sang her hit song Irawo, Chidinma performed her song 'You n I' without flavor :)
Then Nikki Laoye performed a soul stirring rendition of 'Happy Birthday' it got Mo shedding a tear or two. Mo cut the cake with her 74yr old mom and her 2 kids.
Nikki Laoye came back on stage backed up by Waje, Seyi Shay, Chee, Chidinma, Yinka David's, and Ara and sang 'Ain't no stopping us now' she also did a mix of her hit song 1-2-3, which was pure class!
After this was the after party with performances by Iyanya, Olamide and KSA.
