President Buhari says he met a virtually empty treasury when he assumed office. He said this while speaking with members of the state House correspondents in Aso Rock earlier today.
"I hope we are starting and this culture developed, of 100 days is bringing so much pressure with treasury virtually empty, with debts in millions of dollars, with state workers and even federal workers not paid their salaries. It is such a disgrace for Nigeria. I think Nigeria should be in a position to even pay it’s workers. This bad management that we find ourselves in, we really need your help to protect us from people before they match on us” he said

We focused too much on federal 4geting that d rot pervades the states who also corner d LGA fund. We Buhari, deal with it or you restructure and do away wit LGA and give more power to states whlie revenue sharing becomes 50/50 between states and FG. The FG should concentrate on territorial protection viz armed forces. Leaving health, education, housing and certain infrastructure in d hands of states. Transportation/ aviation should be privatised and Legislature should be unicameral.
