Stop the attacks or face our wrath - OPC threatens South Africa

The Oodua People's Congress, OPC. has given a 48-hour ultimatum to the South African government to stop the xenophobic attacks going on their country or incur the wrath of the group. At a press conference in Lagos today April 21st, the founder of the group, Dr Frederick Fasheun warned that nobody has the monopoly of violence.
"While the Nigerian government and the rest of the world seek a diplomatic solution to this season of madness, the OPC hereby warns that South Africa must end this rash of xenophobia within 48 hours. These ill-advised attacks are capable of bringing out the beast in the best of men. And we will not watch as fellow Nigerians are wantonly killed in cold blood. Enough is enough. South Africans must know that nobody has a monopoly of violence. They must halt the killings, the maiming and the looting of foreigners’ shops in their country. These incidents of xenophobia will provoke reprisals against South Africans and their interests in other lands. Thus, beginning with the belligerent Zulu King, all South Africans involved in these attacks should be arrested immediately and prosecuted for crimes against humanity.”he said
According to Dr Fasheun, what the group will do if the attacks continues cannot be revealed now but said South Africans should remember they have many businesses in Nigeria
"South Africa has many business interests in Nigeria but of course, you do not expect me to reveal what we will do until the time is right.”he said

So, it is necessary that you plan your shoe budget before buying one.

It compares the design of vintage motorcycles to today's models.
Toe Size: The right shoe will not only fit well but will also
be flexible in the toe area, with enough space for your feet to relax, without being pinched in very tight.

There's a way to send a strong msg to SA without jeopardizing Nigerians' jobs. Simply block them from working like communities bar oil companies by blocking their premises. No job is lost but the loss is massive for the company. One day alone will make them come to their senses.

So everyone on here talking about how they support retaliation against South African businesses, and about how "they are killing our brothers"... My question is "what have you done about our brothers and sisters that have been killed (and being killed daily) in their thousands here in Nigeria?"
Why must our default settings be hooliganism in this country?
So, if your neighbor's dog bites your child you'll go and bite your neighbor's child? Cos it seems that's what we're championing on here.
What u do is approach your neighbor and ask him to (1.) muzzle his dog, and (2.) pay ur child's medical expenses.
Both parents in this analogy would be the government.
This is strictly something to be handled by the government of the affected countries I a diplomatic manner. The South African government should be made to "muzzle their dogs" and pay repatriation for properties damaged... Óparí!!!
if your government will not do that for it's citizens abroad, then your beef is with your government, not (equally) innocent SA businesses.
People... It's time we leave this HERD mentality and start thinking for ourselves. And if the comments I've read above speaks to the reasoning of a majority, then there really is no point in anyone of us fighting for Nigeria. We are animals.

Ungrateful uncivilized savages, wish madiba was here to reiterate the mammoth, enormous support and funding they got from Ehopia, mali, guinea, liberia, morocco, tunisia, senegal in 1962 to fight for their rights! Nigeria later became one of the foremost supporters of Black South African liberation movements, including the African National Congress. After d end of d apartheid in 1994, South African businesses sought for professionals to immigrate and a large number of Nigerians and other Africans did so, making them the largest economy! Is this how the wanna pay Africans back, the same South Africa deported 125 Nigerians in 2012 for nt possessing common and ordinary Yellow Fever certificates. it is just so infuriating and distressing the unappreciate modus South Africa is exhibiting

U can't blame this amala and ewedu blocked brain, gbegiri is swimming in her brain already that's wat she's got in her head not craze!
Very ignorant comment!

Anonymous said...

Please I don't understand. Kindly explain.

Anonymous said...

Hmm .... the truth is that in one form or the other 'racism' abounds. People need to be enlightened on how the presence of Foreigners fosters growth in their economy.
Also there should be stricter immigration measures to stem 'illegal or imported ' vices.
I have come to accept that I am home only when I am home.
If in 'small ' Nigeria or 'small' America people see so much differences.....God help us

Ok o. Clean yourself first before cleaning others. What will you guys do? two wrongs cannot make a right. If we fight this battle with violence, Nigeria will loose, South Africa will loose. Threats can not even affect people who do not know who you or your group are so stop the threat already. The same way your kingsmen supported the hate speech made by oba akinolu to the Igbos. Is it not the same thing repeating itself in South Africa? Now everybody is shouting Nigerians this Nigerians that, why not igbo man in South Africa and Yoruba man in South Africa. We all need each other. The earlier we realise that the best for all of us. Jealousy is the only thing that can make people to behave like Oba Akinolu's supporters and Zulu people.

Whether the threat is empty or not, must we Nigerians make SA feel we are dumbs? Internally, SA protects themselves even at the point of evil acts they are carrying out. This is the problem we have in our country. when we don't encourage one another rather we castigate ourselves. LINDA POST MY COMMENT.
