The hashtags attract attention of international media which then attracts the attention of international celebrities and high profile figures and they put pressure in their leaders to help out and also put pressure on the Nigerian president to do something instead of just sitting there and dragging his feet. Without the media hype, ordinary Nigerians would just have complained in vain and everything would have been swept under the rug. Word reaching us is that among the missing is Jane Doe, 14years old from x and you see a picture of Jane pop up on the screen. With this situation…Nothing!
