Linda you should let your readers know that 50 and the son live in separate homes and that in the USA most schools require a ticket to attend graduation. So if you are not informed of the graduation or handed a ticket, you cannot attend. You can't buy those graduation tickets in most schools and even when they do sell them they set a limit per student and you have to manage your guest within those tickets. The rest of the family must meet you at the reception. So yes if Fifty was not invited good chances are even if he knew and had showed up he would not have gotten inside.
