Governor Fashola builds first suspension bridge in Nigeria

Lagos State Governor, Babatunde has finished building the first suspension bridge in Nigeria. The 1.358km bridge, which will link Ikoyi (Alexander Street) to Lekki (Admiralty Way), cost about N29 billion to build and a toll will be collected to recoup the investment. The link bridge was built by Julius Berger.

It's crazy how some people in Nigeria behave like fucking retards. Like seriously, I don't blame them when they don't use their access to Internet to do anything productive like how the economy of other countries function. UK & US how do you think they maintain their countries. Do your research, catch up on latest news even on history. Countries functions through taxes and paying shit like toll gate charges. If you want want know what I'm talking about then research NHS in UK or even M6 Toll in Birmingham. There's a reason taxes are paid for that shit. #hateignorantfuckers KMT

Nigerians/Lagosian, please be reasonable, the toll gate money is going to be used for maintaining the bridge, do u guys still expect this man to use his salary for maintenance? Shame onto the Federal Government, they cant repair the Lagos-Ibadan Express way, because Nigerians Lack maintenance, we dnt have the culture of maintenance, for example look at the National Stadium, it was abandon because the so called Federal Government cannot maintain it, the same thing is applicable to Abuja National Stadium, they have to call Julius Berger to com and repair it. So the suspending bridge is going to be working properly cos its been managed by a private company not the government and the money derived from it will be used for maintaining the bridge for proper functionality. So therefor the charges are for life.
