House On The Rock spreads love through Project Spread

It was an amazing display of love, responsibility and accountability as the head pastor, House on the Rock church, Pastor Paul Adefarasin led a team of volunteers to 4 communities last saturday, distributing food items and medical supplies to the residents.

The outreach saw lots of families; young and old, receiving gifts from the Pastor and volunteers.

It has always been the core desire of Pastor Paul Adefarasin to spread the gospel of Christ to the very ends of Nigeria and he does it beautifully well by showing love during Project Spread which happens annually. The outreach which pulled together families from different communities last year, did just the same in a larger scale this year.

After the Pastor shared words of love and the gospel of Christ with the families gathered at the 4 locations, he went on to individually share gifts to them. The mothers, fathers, children, uncles, aunties and grandparents left the venues singing words of praise for the head Pastor and his volunteers.

Last year, over 2,400 families were beneficiaries of the Project Spread outreach. It was done simultaneously at Makoko, Ijesha, Lagos Island (Isale Eko) and Jakande communities across Lagos state. This year communities that benefited are Ajegunle, Sangotedo, Elegushi and Lagos Island communities.

As the holidays approach, it's the mandate of the church and every well meaning Nigerian to show and share love with all. House on the rock has shown an epic example by hosting another edition of Project Spread.

Thank God for you Linda. I was thinking of when any news outlet including blogs would carry this good news. Thank you Pastor Paul, when others are busy buying Ferrari, Rose Royce phantom, Range rovers and private jets for themselves for Xmas, you're busy giving to the poor and needy putting smiles on their faces and showing them love despite the recession. God bless you sir! This is the basis of Christianity! HOTR rocks!

This is the kind of news that we should hear from churches, not about them having schools that the poor can't go to. Nice 1
