Glo’s Professor Johnbull advocates modest celebrations at Christmas

As the social satire, Professor Johnbull, sponsored by the grandmasters of data, Globacom, enters the 8th episode of Season 2 this Tuesday, the well-accepted sitcom dissects the penchant for ostentatious lifestyle during the Yuletide season.

Tagged 'Ekeresimesi', an Igbo corruption of Christmas, the new episode, billed for airing at 8.30 p.m. on Tuesday on NTA Network, NTA International on DSTV Channel 251 and NTA on StarTimes is apt in its discourse of the pains many inflict on themselves in the bid to show off during Christmas.

The episode parades the regulars of the sitcom such as Professor Johnbull (Kanayo O. Kanayo), Elizabeth (Queen Nwokoye), Flash acted by Stephen Odimgbe, Mai Doya (Funky Mallam)thei time to watch the titillating episode, Globacom  in a CX a issued in Lagos on Monday said that "the new episode of Professor Johnbull, titled 'Ekeresimesi' cannot be more relevant than now when the festive season is by the corner and everyone is trying to outdo the other in a bid to show off their material gains in the passing year".
