Nobel Laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka today paid a visit to President
Buhari, in the State House, Abuja. They had a closed door meeting in the
President's office, at the Presidential Villa. Addressing reporters
after the meeting, Soyinka said, "I came to discuss national and
international matters, general matters, that’s all!" More photos after

The Yorubas have refused to accept the reality that they made a grave mistake supporting the man from Daura, They keep going to see him to discuss and plead with him yet the man who belongs to the North refuses to tow the right part.
I can hear him in my subconscious say "Naturally the part of the country that gave (naityfife fercent)95% of the votes can not be treated equally with the part of the country that gave me 5% (fife fercent)in some issues"
I can see 2019 approaching the electoral process seems like it wont be free and fair.

I'm sure Soyinka will be very blunt and forthright. Soyinka will soon make abusive remarks about PMB. I think it's in Soyinka's nature to be quarrelsome. I admire his courage and obvious integrity - in fact he is one of my heroes. However, I feel he doesn't have a democratic spirit. It's his wish or nothing else. He does not take criticism well but will criticize and condemn savagely.
Wole, Please ask PMB to abrogate that horrible anti-gay law. It is a stupid, ignorant and barbaric piece of legislation. Let PMB bring Nigeria into a civilized, cosmopolitan mindset by abolishing that law, and start by ordering that any prosecution or persecution of gays must cease.
