Graphic pics: Policeman's man chopped off while struggling to stop a commercial bus driver
These pics have gone viral on Twitter but no one is saying exactly what part of Nigeria it happened and when it happened. According to the story, the police man pictured above got his left hand cut off while
struggling for control of the steering wheel of a commercial bus with its driver during an attempted arrest. Continue to
see graphic photo of the Police man's severed hand
my dear linda, it happened along airport road, local airport to be precise, opposite the police station before you get to forte filling station and the story na true.
policeman MAN? Linda what are you talking about.pls read the headline again.give one of the jobless readers of your blog a proof reading job and stop falling your hand.
Waoooo this has being my prayer for them, let me see the hand he we use to collect 20 naira shameless being. I wish this to all police officers in nigeria include my uncle commisioner of police chief chris daru.

painful as it is for this to have happened to him, i think the man was being overzealous. most of these commercial bus drivers are reckless. but then again, the policemen keep arresting and extorting money from them.
the picture says it all. it does not look like a police man struggling with a commercial bus driver. the picture looks like a drunk policeman on the wheels , who crashed the car and lost one hand.
Really a gory sight! That navy blue and white strip looks like Port Harcourt (rivers state) commercial vehicle colour! I hope other occupants of the vehicle survived!....... And these pictures should be shown to all policemen, lastmas and vio of this world, so that they will caution themselves!!!
I FEEL SORRY FOR HIM, BUT THIS PICTURE IS A LITTLE BEAT FUNNY BECAUSE IF PROPER QUESTIONS ARE ASKED, IT WOULD BE HE WAS CHASING THE BUS DRIVER BECAUSE HE REFUSED TO SETTLE HIM....NOTHING ELSE, NIGERIA POLICE FRUSTRATED (FORCE)......
this is rather funny, do you know the loss that police man has caused? cant nigerian police be gentle? cant they copy Number plates of offenders and track them rather than trying to drag stirring with motorist everyday. him don turn one hand boss na, con damage the man car for nothing.
May God forgive me, i dont pity the policeman..why must he engage a moving vehicle...if you stop a vehicle and refuses to stop, if he has actually committed a crime, then take his number plate and report to the right authority and not to risk your life for a peanut.....Oloju kokoro....Ole.
If i say 'serves him right' it would seem like im mean... truth b told, some law enforcement agents take unecessary and meaningless risk for nothing, he should thank God it wasnt his life that got cut off.
This looks like Murtala Mohammed Airport Bus shuttle. I am strongly suspecting it happened here in Lagos along the International Airport Road axis. Its so unfortunate.
don't know if it is fair to say " Serves him right" but another part of me feel for him. These Law enforcement agent need to be trained, they behave like motor park touts. Why struggle with the driver? is there no other way to arrest a bus? the annoying part is how they struggle to open your door and jump into front seat. Well, you are officially an amputee. Cheers. Don Casey
OMG (O MA GA) Nig. Policemen should please to struggling with commercial drivers. We know you guys have mouths to feed but not by involving in illegal actions. If u from the other side, the commercial driver did not commit any offence.
Oh and I felt he died , this is even worse bcos all tru is life he will remember that his greed caused him to lose his arm. And if he want to put story for his children n grand children in future he will paint himself as an hero trying to stop crime.
You need to look at the picture well, the vehicle in question looks more like a police truck rather than a public transportation bus. I think the story behind this picture would be "a police man lost his arm in a terrible accident. From the picture,it is obvious that people were trying to get him out of the front seat of the vehicle.
Linda the accident happened last week Friday along airport road in ikeja Lagos, from what i heard when i passed the scene of the accident the policeman grabbed onto the car because the driver refused to give him N100. the accident caused a bit of a hold up for almost 3hrs.
Linda it happened last Friday 3/7/2015 evening .Its was a sienna Bus that shuttles from NACO Airport road to Ikeja. The accident happened opposite the filling station, around MM2 round about. If u are going to Ikeja from NACO,Airport Road.
OUCH!!!! Kai!!! but why now???? there are better ways of handling arrest not by chasing the car. The other day a policeman was crushed to death along obollo afor, Nsukka from chasing/stopping a crazy driver. Nobody wants to be caught for crimes, so the police force needs to restrategise

The driver kept harrassing him for money, that he had just dropped a police that did not pay and he must pay. The police then opened teargas on the driver's face; whilst he was driving! I was on a short queue along the road leading to Forte oil petrol station close to the local airport from Ikeja axis when the Toyota sienna came with speed and hit a Mitsubishi suv going to the airport from behind, the sienna fell down to the left, hit the road divide and tumbled to the other side of the road, thank God there was no incoming vehicle close by, it would have been worst. The occupants were easily rescued with minor injuries except the police officer who lost his left hand and was also held down by the steering and other body parts of the badly damaged sienna car. You are correct @Uyi
