of Niger state, Babangida Aliyu, where Charity now Aisha resides,
ordered that the wedding to be stopped when he got information that the
young lady's parents were not informed of her upcoming wedding. Imams
and other Muslim clerics were already gathered when the wedding was

There is a great reason for her to have converted to islam,she has found the truth and have decided to choose the religion of PEACE, muslims are not terrorist,mark my word WE ARE NOT TERRORIST,
First of all, serving God is personal. Secondly of all, Nigeria is a multireligious country, people should have the fundamental right to choose which religion they choose to practise. Thirdly, the responses here should a deep social problem with Us, Nigerians, which is a total lack of respect for another man's beliefs simply because we do not share those religious beliefs. I see alot of Judges here, but i do remember in the same bible, we were all told not to judge. i do solemnly hope one day, we are mature enough to respect peoples wishes as individuals which is within their rights. I am a Christian. The way we practise Christianity in Nigeria is like competition. very sad. Anyway may the Good lord forgive us all for Judging out of ignorance and intolerance.
