"Linda and fellow LIB readers, please help! I am a nursing mother/wife. I get wet and sometime cum when I'm breastfeeding my 7 months old son who happens to be my first baby. When he suckles my breast...gosh! What is happening to me? Are there other mothers out there who have had similar feelings? What can I do to stop this? Am I developing unhealthy sexual feelings for my own son or what is this? Please I need help!

I don't think there's anything to be afraid of, there are several women that have had the same experience. It will stop and you can also try to focus your mind on something totally different when you're breastfeeding.

No, It is natural. The act of sucking on the breast releases oxytocin. Oxytocin is a hormone that makes the uterus contract. That's why you are experiencing this. It's different for everyone.

Linda tell her not worry its normal. If she googles there is lots of infomation on that. Also check on the NHS uk website there is some info on that. Some women do that regardless of the sex of the child its the hormones kicked off by the sucking.

What's happening to u is u allow yourself get carried away while breastfeeding and ur mind wanders to anything sexual remember the nipple is also for sexual stimulation.. unfortunately Nigeria isn't a place where professional help for such things are common and the stigma that goes with it isnt something u wanna face so only u can help yourself. I hope u feel better knowing its a normal thing that happens to some people however self control is the best help u can get. u can also try to control the way your baby plays wit ur body while he sucks and if possible stop breast feeding as soon as possible

Hi. For some women, the nipples are very sensitive and stimulation may cause wetness, etc. Does this happen when your partner suckles? Or did it just start with your baby? It might just be how your body reacts when your nipples are stimulated. First, to avoid unhealthy feelings , don't breastfeed for the purpose of getting stimulated even if your body is asking for it. Second, there are other ways of giving your baby breast milk without your baby sucking your breast (do ur research and pick the most preferable, if you would go with this option). Third, you should see a gp or an endocrinologist. Stay healthy! Cheers

It's a normal physiological response to lactation hormones. Breastfeeding feels good! If it didn't, very few mothers would do it. It might help to understand just what hormonal responses are taking place.
As your baby nurses, prolactin — known as the "mothering hormone" — stimulates the body to manufacture milk. This hormone gives you a feeling of relaxation and well-being. The arousal you describe while nursing may also be the result of the empowerment and satisfaction you feel knowing that you are meeting all of your daughter's nutritional and emotional needs at the breast.

It is not as weird as it sounds linda, it happens 2 som oda women too. Her mammary glands are very sensitive datz y. Its not sexual attraction 2 d baby,so she shudn't see hersef as an abnormal mother. Ignorance kills,I knw som people wil turn dis into a joke.
It happened to me wen I was still breastfeeding my baby but wen the feeling gets too strong I will remove my babys mouth to calm down the feeling. Before I continue the breast feeding.
It happens to some women some times but try not to think sex. It shows how healthy n active u are.
