Ini Edo stars in a dance movie

Nollywood actress Ini Edo is currently working on a new movie, a dance movie titled "I'll Take My Chances", produced by Emem Isong and directed by Desmond Elliot. The movie also stars dancer, model and ex-Mr Nigeria Bryan Okwara, pictured above with Ini.

So Ini can bust a move? Waiting to see this!

This is meant to be a Bollywood type movie? Wonders in Nollywood shall never cease! Instead of figuring out a way of making quality films that have excellent editing, sound, lighting, camera work, plot, costumes, make up etc they are jumping into Bollywood song and dance numbers. Well, we shall see. A song and dance number at the end of a film is not the same as basing an entire film on that principle especially since the star is not a trained dance and we have never heard her sing a lick. I will be glad for some eye candy if anything so please less clothes on Brian, pretty please:)

isn't she too old for that kind of movie?

i think she is a very good actress but people haven't been able to look beyond her razzness, well now that she is finally loosing that image we would all appreciate her works.
kudos to Iniobong, u guys are really making me proud

I'm sure its going to be a great movie! I like how the folks in Nollywood keep reinventing themselves, creating new ideas and innovations unlike some skank Ho's who sit at home in their pyjamas, with rollers in their hair and do nothing but yak! You go Ini! Nothing do you! Im sure the film will be great! meanwhile I need me some Bryan....fast!

dance movie? ini? not a good combo. she is not fit and i know it will just end up looking sloppy.BTW, pageant king so to speak doesn't necessarily mean good actor. i hope they both pull it off though. emem isong is aiight.

That was what she did in GHETTO LANGUAGE. I thought she was going on a 9 month course after marriage.

The film cannot beat GHETTO LANGUAGE. Age is telling on her. She was younger then... She needs a better role.

She should just produce her own movie. I thought the guy was rich. Since she got married, she looked worse off, why?

Ini Edo? I'm not gonna judge the movie until i see it. Bryan is sexxxxxxyyy!!!! can't wait to see him around. but does he know how to act? hmmmm....well Emem Isong never disappoints me. from 2005 'til date, her movies are always ON POINT. Desmond Elliot and Emem make a good team! can't wait.
and whoever was talking about quality and sound and lighting must not know Emem. it may not be the best, but she is leagues ahead of other Nollywood producers, so that shouldn't be an issue.

i wonder skanks!

copy-copy syndrome would not kill nollywood!

we don't have what it takes to make such film.

it needs perfect choreography and not the wishy-washy version they would present to the world!

@best of the west,
calling someone a ho simply because she does not buy your idea of a great trash to be called a movie, shows a sign of a desperado! or a sick-fan salivating over a man's body! get yourself a dildo with the picture of bryan by the bedside and cum!

i dont understand Nigerian movies most times. must it be iniedo??? what happens to other ladies who are well talented dancers and can equally dance? I say they need to expand their circle of actors...cant wait to watch the movie...will definitely be a laff! Hmmmf!

You really dont know whats up with this movie and you are already hating! why do Nigerians hate progress? Why dont we wait for the film to come out first before you start running your mouth! As for me I look forward to seeing the movie. This might be a challenge to Ini but you never know she might just pull it off and disappoint all naysayers!

They look ridiculous!

the only thing I'm against is using the SAME FACES! Emem should have used this as an opportunity to hire an up and coming actress with a lot of dancing skills. its about time Nollywood get some new faces. the only new people i've seen in the last two years is Nse Ikpe. we are in desperate need of new faces and new talent! why is it the same people hogging the spotlight 24/7?
i guess in Nigeria, people will buy who they are familiar with, but enough is enough.

ha ha ha ha! dis is so funny. ini edo! well, i really hope she can really pull dis out, but y ini edo? dakore wld have bin more like it or genevieve. idealy, it shuld av bin a professional dancer not heavy duty ini edo who wld end up breaking bryan's waste. well, i wish dem well, i know as usual dat dis movie will be a fiasco.

WHY MUST PEOPLE ALWAYS HATE? Ms Emem Isong is a brilliant producer and Desmond is fab at what he does so why hate? I truly believe in the potentials of this movie and i doubt it won't be a hit. Well unless all you Ini Edo/haters of the federal republic of Nigeria will go and watch it.

Ok guyzs, you complain too much. Before it was too much love and juju in movies, now that they are trying to impress you people you are there talking about sound, costumes blah blah blah. I fear una sha

To all those 'Critics of the Federal Republic of Nigeria' (CFRN) I will quote a tweet I read recently which I found hilarious but true. It said

'Some nameless and faceless people are busy beefing music/movie stars on the internet while a couple of sheep (in Bauchi) are busy getting famous'

Quit bitching and let us know you or forever hold your peace abeg!

Hahahahahaha, the last one with Tricia(don't know her last name) where she was also set to play an athlete, the picture of her holding the ball was so funny. Now, Ini, a dancer?

It's official, all nigerian movies are meant for comedy. It's better that way.

LMAO LMAO ROTFLMAO ....OMG ...please let me catch my breath ...i'll get back to u on that one...excuse me mrs ini edo, you do realise that dancers dont achieve their bodies with BODY MAGIC RIGHT???

6.59pm - She wants a guarantee that her movie will sell so she will continue to use the same boring roster of people. She could guarantee herself her big box office and stop boring the audience if she put established Nollywood faces with new actors but she's afraid. She is first and foremost a business woman, before she is a creative being.

Hmmmmm I love ini bt they could have chosen a slim lady instead of her, bt anywayswho cares because d movie wil stil end like Nollywood movies .
