The near-accident occurred when the chartered airplane conveying Mr. Adeola, the Deputy National Chairman of the party, Boss Mustapha, and the former National Chairman of the All Nigeria Peoples Party, Yusuf Alli, to a scheduled rally in Bauchi crash landed due to non-clearance of the airport runway by airport authorities.
Nuhu Ribadu and Fola Adeola |
According to the press release obtained by SaharaReporters, another aircraft conveying the ACN presidential candidate, Nuhu Ribadu, and other leader leaders of the party such as Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was forced to hover in the air for about an hour for the runway to be cleared.
The Director of Media and publicity of the Nuhu Ribadu Campaign Organization, Ibrahim Modibbo condemned the incident.
“We suspect sabotage,” Mr. Modibbo said. “And as a matter of urgency we call for an investigation into the immediate and remote cause of the runway invasion. If not for the expertise of the pilot, we would probably not be saying what we are saying today,”

Bakilo; we need to move away from that stereotype. It’s retrogressive & that’s why we are where we are. The problem with Nigeria isn’t really a religious thing, it’s more of a “them versus us,” “the ruling class versus the not so ruling class,” “the rich versus the poor.” Remember Abiola and Kingibe? It wasn’t that bad then and it can’t be that bad now. The Ribadu/Adeola ticket is far safer than the Buhari/Bakare ticket. Someone made this comment in a daily; “even if Buhari chooses Jesus Christ as his deputy i will never vote for him.” The guy is a zealot! When i look at Buhari all i see is just a cold and hard stare. I’m disenfranchised (no voting in the Diaspora) and if i could vote, i would vote for Ribadu and Adeola. I’m from Imo state and PDP owns the whole of the South-South and South-East bar Edo state. They are a monumental failure!!
I like conspiracy theories. With them, it's a case of no smoke without fire! Politics is so dirty especially in Africa and PDP will do anything to remain relevant.
Linda i replied to a post and it's not here anymore!
Here’s my replacement post;
I like conspiracy theories. They always seem to have “a no smoke without fire” ring to them. PDP is such a desperate party and they will do anything to remain relevant. Thank God, Mr. Adeola is well and alive to tell this story.
