13 people die in fresh attacks in Jos

People who survived the attack

Thirteen people were reported dead after an attack on a village in Jos today Tuesday January 11th.

"I am told that 13 people died in the dawn attack," said Plateau state police commissioner Abdulrahman Akano, adding that officers had been sent to the mainly Christian village of Wareng to verify.

A local politician confirmed that at least 13 people died in the assault.

My goodness, when will this end?

O Lord, I pray, please let the Spirit of peace enter these people so that they will stop killing each other. help themm to understand that they are killing no other than their brothers and sisters and not their enemies. Amen.

Any wonder why a state of emergency hasn't been declared here? Well, it's the politicians who are behind this but they are using religion to cover it up.

My sister, this will not end I assure you and it is not because I do not want it to end but there is a mind-wrecking lack of civility , exposure ,good governance, adequate and world ranking education that foreigners are envious of in this stupid contraption called nigeria where mindless ambassadors with no track records are resigning to come back and be senators and the wives of previous governors with no national or international identifiable and acknowledgeable pedigree are choosing to be high ranking government officals and leaders. What a shame! A couple of people would be killed in the next few days to weeks and I am not wishing anyone bad like religious folks would say but how come a so called religious country like Nigeria is trailing miles and miles behind and i mean seriously behind atheist & agnostic filled countries in every human developmental index you can think of. Does this not show there is something wrong with this freaking country where people have been killed on a daily to weekly basis in a particular region and the perpetrators go scot freaking free and it is business as usual with stupid police/army personnels looking perplexed and bewildered like schizophrenics on no medication but go on beating harmless citizens physically when they are flying down the road to clear the way for the useless Oga? I rest my case!

At the end of the day, both sides of the war are poor, lacking in basic services, etc. So, this leads me to ask the question, who exactly is benefiting from this endless cycle of violence? Think about it people.
