Photos: US-based Nigerian passenger slumps, dies at MMIA, Lagos

A passenger identified as Dr Isaac Olusola Dada died of heart attack on arrival at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos after disembarking from Emirates flight from Dubai.

The deceased with passport number A04501199 was said to have slumped and died at the arrival hall on Wednesday, July 12.


According to police sources, the passenger slumped on arrival at the Checkport screening point at about 6:30 pm and was quickly attended to and given  medication by medical practitioners from Port Health. However, he was later pronounced dead at 7:34 pm.

The passenger, who was accompanied by his wife and members of the Lions Club International, arrived Nigeria to attend the 100th International Convection of the organisation. They flew from the US through Dubai to Lagos.

His remains was said to have been taken away by his wife to the morgue.
