There is racism in Africa, but it is not a big issue if compared with racism in America, Asia, and Europe. What is killing us in Africa is tribalism.

LOL.... Then you've not been discriminated against before. I've experienced racism in Shopprite (Lekki) and UBA Broad Street Branch by Apongbo. These 2 occasions were by our own Nigerians placing preference to servicing "white/foreigners" and on the UBA instance refusing to give the rest of us (Nigerians) any service. A thing I have never experienced in my 14yrs living in New York.

Religious indoctrination and fanaticism, lack of education and refusal to embrace rational thinking, or go beyond dark age mentality, because we would rather argue god created the world in seven days, instead of scientific inquiry and curiousity.

Beliefs in fetishism, disregard for life, and false/ forced morality. Arrogance and utter disregard for facts and reality.

Racism is caused by African mentality and backwardness, and black people who could potentially not be limited by the perception that we are mentally challenged, unfortunately have to deal with the consequences of that very perception of Africans, wherever we may find ourselves, around the globe.

This person needs to visit tunisia, egypt and other african countries that have people with white skin,as a matter of fact, those ones with white skin don't even consider themselves africans, and they treat black people like shit

There is racism in Africa. Racism, colorism and tribalism are alive and well all over the continent, not just South Africa. In Togo, a white person earns more than a mixed-race person, who earns more than a black person. Same job, same establishment. That's racism and colorism.

Some firms in Nigeria pay white folks more than Nigerians. That's racism. Racism isn't only about being called a nigger or a white person spitting in your face (overt). Institutionalized racism can be harder to spot and fight.

Most Nigerians are fucked up in the head over color. That's why so many Nigerians bleach and call others "black". Guess what, you can be as light as Michael Jackson and Bobrisky, we are all still black.
