@theRealAkon, u need to stick your head out of your shell called Nigeria. In western part of the world, your funneral arrangements are made by you in your life time. So,what's different in Nigeria and BURIAL COMMITTEE ?It's a good arrangement to give the deceaced a befitting burial.

You clearly haven't lost a loved one otherwise u would appreciate the need for such committees.

I thought, it was mentioned that she is a muslim. Why then the committee, when Allah has already provided on how it is the suppose to be done! Waste of time and resources.

Isn't faithia 48 years old? Why are you heading committee of someone that probably calls you aunty? That's a taboo in Yoruba land...

It is only in Nigeria, muslims and chritians read holy books yet refuse to be guided truthfully about the dead. What is the rationale behind burial committees over deads who don't even give a damn about what happens on earth after their demise?
Pretence in the veil of vanity!!

What is embarrassing. Don't people die in ur village and don't they bury them

As Muslim don't they organise burial. If she is a Muslim and the circumstances surrounding her death cannot enzbLe them to bury her as a Muslim is there any problem doing otherwise. My friend the most important thing is for her to be accorded a befitting burial.

You guys just don't seem to understand things. Will the dead bury itself. Is it not friends and family that will do the burial. Even jess Christmas was buried by his friends or disciples. In modern days there could be logistic problem so they need a committee to ensure events are ok besides this particular person died abroad. So it involves logistics bringing her corpse home
