Nigerian Graduates with 4.0CGPA out of 4.0 in University of Texas

A 24 year old Nigerian, Uwa Osamede Imafidon, just graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) in the US with Masters degree in Microbiology and made a 4.0 CGPA out of the maximum 4.0 CGPA.

Before her sojourn abroad, she had earlier bagged a First Class Degree in Crop Science from University of Benin, as the Best Graduating student in her Department. So proud of her! See photos of her when she was in Nigeria for her first degree, after the cut...

Beauty plus brains = great combination!

Getting 4.0 in the U.S or Canada, at Masters level, is not a big deal, even an average Nigerian student with dedication and focus can achieve such result

Meanwhile other naija girls are going there to learn how to dress like nikki minaj and run after the latest trends...unfortunately this one like those before her will be lost to the U.S govt who appreciate excellence.

The sad thing about all this is dat the nigerian govt will see this kind of achievement and turn the other face without thinking of how to harness the homegrown potentials before it is lost to another serious govt. our govt is not serious. is all about 2015 political ambition. This is what the numerous senior and special advisers on taxpayers payroll are suppose to be bringing to the know of the president n governors instead they indulge in sacophancy and cheap acts to curry favours. so pathetic!

My dear congratulations....may all the people that believe that getting CGPA 4/4 is an easy task try to show us what they have. Infact somebody that is even claiming she and her husband are having 4pt and have not even graduated cannot even appreciate an individual that has graduated with 4/4. Let me tell u I had a friend in my master program, he was 4/4 after his course work but at the end he fell below 3.9 because of his final project. Besides, if you have 4point and you could not appreciate someone with such grade irrespective of the course, your 4 point is doubtful because there is no university in the world where you pick such. Nigerian, lets learn to celebrate and appreciate people that are achiever rather thancasting down and spreading bad news. We dont value scholars hence the people that know their worth keep them, hence they re developing while we re loosing them. Its quite unfortunate. Watch out our Uwa would be celebrated in the US. I beg UWA once again congrats.

Thank you so much. I wish our youths will take inspiration from this.

Thanks for being a great role model, a true African.

Scrap that nonsense BBA and its crazy show of nakedness. Let us sponsor our youths to schools where they learn to rule the world instead of being known as the scorn of the world!
