The Nigerian education has failed to help students acquire the knowledge needed to pass this exam.
A for Aristo, B for Buy me Blackberry, C for Chatting,...F for Fail...
Well, students lackadaisical attitude towards studying is questionable. Or we blame the goverment for a student who has refused to study and wants to pass an exam?
omo mehn no be small thing...... lemme check my brothers result. brb Linda
It's no wonder that the canker worm ravages the nation. "No chance for Mediocrity" - This is the strict law of JAMB but JAMB is nothing but a Mediocre" They collected full money (almost 6.9 billion Naira) from candidates and tell them to bring nothing to the exam hall. To my utmost amazement someone told me that they did not supply calculator. Can anybody tell me why JAMB should not be punished? Who will save poor and wretched Nigeria Students form this casket called JAMB? Well, JAMB is meant to be competitive, you can't have 500,000 applicants competing for 500,000 space.
So having a competition where 1 out of 3 will be successful is fair. N5000 per form to generate a total of 75bn is very unfair and its exploitation. They either put the money into building more higher institutions hence creating more space, or reduce the cost of the form to N1000 or less.
That is true, you can now check yours now. Wish you all best of luck.

What is the problem with Jamb sef? Does it mean all the Kids in Niger does not know anything and what about our private schools...
Heyyyyy !! I failed jamb twice o. I left naija, happily, for England. That was long long time ago. I'm now a solicitor. Was i dumb or could it be that I deliberately failed jamb twice so that my dad would allow me to return to UK? Dad's been told the answe. The things we did when we were young.
I think jamb is meaningless and pointless. It should be scrapped. Naija's education system is in need of major overhaul.
Hian!na which kin question they ask abeg? Only 3 candidiates scored above. 300 And my younger bro Emmy wrote oo.no wonder he did'nt talk to anybody wen he came came from d exam, he jst went straight to d mango tree started pluckin n eating! Emmy nwanne mu oooooooo. Choi!
I'm just tired for the country, bad news from everywhere. Check this.
Absolute Shame! When their minds are being occupied by useless things instead of their books. May God help our future in this country
Those three students deserve a scholarship! Even though the write it with their head or their brain, or with their swag. You understand na? check jamb result
Wow that is a huge success. This year jamb is different!
Nawa oo, Nigerian youths need to read more oo.
What's the cut off mark
Great! Just like old times. This is a sign of progress my friends
if na 2 kill christains now the north will register 1 million now that it is school where dem dey
wahala dey
Linda, you see why we have boko haram? The entire northern states put together probably did not field as many candidates as Imo state alone.
Jezzzzzz Linda u see ur people??? All dem sabi na wizkid and Davido fm A-Z. Na wa oo wt a shame!!!. During my dayz in sec school, theys dat zeal wantin to write jamb infact na biz gals n boys we be dat time.

nawa oo! Chaii 2go don kill our nigerian youth.
Imo state would undoubtedly rank highest, with the free education policy announced.
Wen wil all dis northerners start going to skool, maybe if they ar a bit educated they wil stop behaving like animal nd they wil knw the worth of human life
Jst 3 studnts abv 300?....isnt ds poor? SMH
May God help them cos UTME is no longer what it used to be in those days... This is one of d indices of underdeveloped nations...
I am, the no Sender.
@ Ada1T Mar 30, 2012 02:24 PM, kindly educate us. Exactly what is an idices of underdevelopment? That UTME is no longer what it used to be? Or the fact that over 1.5 million candidates sat for the exam? Waiting for the enlightenment, you can't be at a trajectory and then fizzle out. Carry us along.
By the way hope the statistics above will shut a good number of loud mouths out there who waggle their tongues to utter such false profanities of Ibos not going to school but rather busy themselves to become models and trading.
Just between Imo and Anambra alone came over 200, 000 prospective under graduates excluding Ebonyi, Abia, Enugu and the Ibo speaking communities in Delta and Rivers.
A pity though that less than four scored above 300. Now that's something to brood about. Yeah, it's serious. FB, nintendo, P.S, LIB, pinging etc is keeping teenagers from scoring high marks in JAMB.
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOL u are a born comedian!!!! U might not know it yet !!LMAO
LMBBO. Very funny.
By the way. Its Igbo and not Ibo! *longhiss*
Lmao...You just cracked me up...Na mango tree fit console ur brother abi na the mango him dey think about when he dey inside jamb hall.....TP
Lmaooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!
Nigeria students, you are the leaders of the future, get serious wt ur academics. What you are in haste to have today, wl be enjoyed greatly tomorrow. Get serious now!
jamb is simply dumb
Look at the number of candidates that registered from the core northern states. What a shame!Instead of their leaders to talk about how to bring real transformation to the grassroots, they are busy, stirring up jealousy in their hearts for southerners because of oil revenue. Now they say the country will split if a northerner does not emerge president 2015. What did they do with the 38yrs that they ruled? Wake up northerners! Education is key. If u don't stop now you will continue to self destruct. The southerners are far ahead in everything!
if d whole 1.5 million passed d exam, its impossible for them to get admission in to the few universities we have across the nation..so JAMB is just a hoax to deny candidates of their right for good education. D real issues need to be tackled. How many institutions has been created by our state and fredral government in d past 2 decades? And d number of candidates is increasing every year.so by 2020 we have 5million candidates and still have dis few institutions around.hmmmmm....we have to grow..d educational system is not improving..thank u...demmy
Linda if u censor gbenga u must censor ds fool too. Animal ewu!
Eedriss Dan Talk am. Nigeria Jaga Jaga.#NEXT
Mr atobatele all candidates where give calculators and writing materials at the point where they purchased their cards, bottom line is children don turn olodo finish thanks to bb, facebook etc, they have become so darn shallow, and private universities r not helping matters they admit tom dick and harry regardless of their scores!Agreed our education system is failing but what's wrong with people reading as well(play your part)
JAMB supplied calculator pls....every human is accountable for his or her success..those ϑα† failed should study hard next year.
Exactly, JAMB is not even dat difficult anymore compared to d 1980s...and they whr given enuf time to write d exam, even d questions wr a̷ repitition of previous JAMB exams questions...jux disappointing. I took my sister to her center on dat day and you needed to av seen d volume σƑ students waiting for expo to be sent to their fones...smh
JAMB supplied calculator pls....every human is accountable for his or her success..those ϑα† failed should study hard next year.
I am, the no Sender.
Thanks for the correction. I suppose Igbo is the language as spoken right? Ibo the people. Ok.
But should you have hissed?
Therefore, I do my own too. looooooonghiissssssssssss
Same here o...I took my sister. To her centre that day and almost cried when I saw these small children hustling for expos. Some people even came with their senior ones who kept making calls for expo. My sister even said their invigilator was just relaxed n not bothered when people were getting texts in the exam and using their phones.
So with all that drama, only 3 people scored above 300! JAMB na wa o
We spend too much time criticing students for not doing well- how about having an annual examination for teachers and the parents of these students?? Only then would we know who has failed our students. The education system has failed our children, the teachers have failed their children, the parents have failed their children and the children have failed themselves- we can't just blame the teachers alone!
The standard of education in this country is very poor, students don't want to study anymore that's why we keep producing half-baked graduates. The "Miracle" centers springing up here and there are the major factors causing these problems they make the students so dependent on them that they see studying as a waste of time. God help Nigeria.
Yeah you are right. Even the teachers needed to be examined. There's a private nursery and primary school beside my house, you need to hear what the teacher teaches these children. As for public schools? Those ones are beyond redemption
Lwkmd...Nigeria education is down a notch...The willing students that are ready to read dont get admitted, except for the students who have enough money to bribe their way into the school system......I cant imagine a student looking for admission owning a BB....Lawd almighty how is he/she expecting to understand complex formulars when his head is filled with chatting formulars like lmao,lwkmd,omg,smh,imo,bwl...Etc...Jeezus av mercy!
