Love this man! I'm sure many folks'll say he's talking because he's a sore loser or they'll say he has finally lost it, but if you're a rational human being and you take what he has said for what it is, you'll know it's the truth and you'll fear for your life. Somehow, Bakare will once again be justified. It's only a matter of time. I admire his fearlessness at a time when other men of God are saying we should pray. Shame on them.

Bakare!!!!!!! Na wa for this man! Ride on jare! Keep saying it like it is. RIDE ON.

This sermon is too hot at this point in time o! I pray that SSS does not nab Pst. Bakare! Nevertheless, he is saying the naked truth! It takes idiots to be ruled by fools, enuff is enuff!

Nigerians messed up when they chose GEJ over Buhari. Buhari would have shut all this nonsense that's happening down. I accept jare, Bakare. I'm an idiot. A very big one at that. Anyone who has sense should be listening to this man. If you can't see the truth in what he is saying, you will still see it, but by then it may be too late.

Pastor Tunde Bakara should better go and mind the pulpit where he said he was ‘called’ and stop mixing pulpit and polities together because it can never work for him.

Why I say this is simply because the Bible said “touch not my anointed and do my prophets no harm” and little time from now people will lose their consciousness and will start touching him and not as “prophet” as he claimed to be but as a politician and they will be justify. I can’t say more than this.

God is not an author of confusion.

The truth and nothing but the truth be told. Tunde Bakare has done so. There is no better way to put it. ALL NIGERIANS know so. We are a bunch of idiotic zombies. The state of affairs has turned citizens into idiotic criminals. In the eyes of even fellow Africans we are nonentities. Such a PITY. SHAME ON US!!!!

Couldn’t he have used a better word than idiot? Why the malapropism(s?)
Even docile is a better word!

Yes, most of the message is true but the messenger? Wrong person to deliver it because a lot of people will think he’s been vindictive because of what happened to his campaign.

If it was coming from someone else, i’d have taken more notice. But from him, he sounded like a rabble-rouser.

Was he sort of supporting violence? Is this man a Pastor, a politician or a crusader? I’m not sure any more.

In all, the message is very combustible.

Who will bell the cat! If it’s not him, will he follow when the revolution starts?

we all elected GEJ, give him a chance

Truth can sometimes be a hard pill to swallow but Mr Bakare is simply stating facts here.

Linda, pls provide the follow-up sermon for us.

RE:the individual who said that it is not in the place of prophets to delve into political matters, that is false!

God's prophets lead the people in ALL matters of their life, because they are simply representatives of God on earth. There is not aspect of out lives, politics included, that God cannot lead us in.

pastor bakare sounds like those Al-Qaeda clerics in Pakistan. Although he seems passionate, I don't believe he'll make a good leader. Agreed, Good luck Jonathan might not be the best elected leader, yet he seems the most promising among the contenders last 2011. I believe Nigeria has many problems relating with corruption, tribalism, poverty and violence, however I hope and believe the country will get better with time. Such words coming out of a MAN OF GOD will only lead to more violence, and personally, I believe that while most of Israel believed Jesus was coming to create a revolution, he came to spread the word of God. Therefore, Pastor Tunde Bakare should stick to his original calling and keep praying that our country will improve and not disintegrate. I can understand that he is only human, and he is probably angry that he lost the election, however, in the end Nigerian chose who they thought was most appropriate.By the way, Pastor Tunde Bakare is not Awolowo, and there is no guarantee that, if given the opportunity, he can do better.

Yes for what ever reason Pastor Bakare is saying this, i think he has/is trading on a dangerous ground-cistern that can never hold water. Remember some of his words during the election that instigated some wicked and barbaric elements that went about destroying peoples properties and places of worship especially those properties belonging to Hausa Christian minority in the north (Katsina, Kano e.t.c) which are supposed to be his fellow xtian brothers. I think some of his comments are detrimental to the survival of Hausa Christians. Kindly advise him to refrain from such statements. President Jonathan is their on the throne by the will of God and Bakare should do him no harm by such irresponsible and cowards statements. Period.

Linda permit to share with you some of the pictures of destruction done during the post election violence in Katsina state so that the supporters of Bakare and he himself can see and stop all the nonsense. An 80 to 100 years mission compound completely destroyed as a results of what people like Bakare are saying. With no apology, i wish the destruction done to Hausa Christian minority were done to Bakare and his cohorts so that he will know what violence is and its effect.

please STOP calling this guy a pastor!!!he is just a politician!!we know how politicians talk & the fact that there are no permanent friends and enemies in politics.i tell you if GEJ makes him a minister today,he will be in ASO ROCK by next flight!!!

Kay said...

Look at all these idiots. Wouldn't know the truth if it slapped them in the face. Whatever your issues with the men, you can't tell me anything he has said is inaccurate. And for those who are afraid of a violent upturn of the status quo, it's coming regardless.

Philemon said...

Oma se o! Nigerians are truly stupid not to see what this man is saying. Whatever my personal issues with him, I respect his boldness. And to those saying Pastors should remain on the pulpit, you have no idea what it means to be the 'salt of the earth' and the 'light of the world'. God did not call us to be local champions in our local churches, and any leader that doesn't realize that he/she has a role to play in nation building hasn't seen the full picture.

Anonymous said...

I am more convinced than ever before that Pastor Bakare doesn't have the temperment to hold a position of leadership through government.
Certain words aren't befitting of someone who wants to hold a leadership position. Kings must learnt to control their emotions, leaders should not upset the polity.
The wisdom of God is pure and peaceable, God is able to bring about change without ingniting violence.

Anonymous said...

If i ever had any doubts about this man, this sermon has convinced me. He is sooooo on point! Nigerians missed a huge opportunity in the last elections and unfortunately we will pay the price over the next 4years. Lets just hope some of us are still alive, so we can correct our error in judgment.
BB, El-Rufai all the way!!!

Bakare Bakare Bakare u're a fool in Jesus Name {Amen}...I laughs. Truth be told, certain tings he said are true but he's just a bloody politician. He shud stop insulting people using Religion. I encourage his insulting people but he shudn't use religion.

Its a pity for someone to concur to what Pastor Bakare has said and call herself an Idiot.

What a shame!!!!!!!

Nigerians are not fools and the President is not an idiot.

Didn't read his bible where the scripture says pray for the leaders and those in authority?

How can he bless and curse at thesame time?

Nigeria is a great nation. The pride of Africa...........
