My concern is the School's ridiculous gesture. What rubbish school would plan this for a first year student after all that first year expenses? Is it even safe? Most of the students are still kids. Well, except of course the person there is lying.
It fascinates me how many people answer 'Sir' and 'ma' to their own biological parents. It's too official na.....isn't there any relationship between the parents and children? This particular conversation in the screenshot sounds very much like one between an employer and his/her employee.
@Anonymous 08:16, I definitely agree with you... My dad would tell me then when I school to say please sir when asking for money... In fact that kinda father son relationship pisses me!
IUO I hail. Elder sis graduated frm there n had enof moni 2 buy a car. 4 sm1 dt didn't wrk or do any bizness in schl. All Tnx 2 excursion n txt bk mata.
I'm not sure how this is funny.. Also the fact that some Nigerian kids call their parents sir and ma is terrible.... you can already tell this relationship is very formal. sad
This whole thing smells fishy, like it was staged or something. But if its true, then the father is both shameless and disgusting. Imagine, on top 27k, then y send her to school. If she goes out to misbehave or meet men for the money now. U complain that she has become wayward. An aristo the fathers age will gladly fund the trip and pay other bills for her. Useless man. "Make me proud" Ko. So sad
There's nothing, absolutely nothing dysfunctional abt showing ur dad or mom respect by ans sir or ma. I grew up saying good mrn, gud day nd welcome sir/ma to my dad nd mom. Yet we are really close with loads of love. I loved my dad a great deal b4 he passed, nd wuld Neva hv traded him for any other dad in d world. My mom on d other hand is still here nd hears a lot of ma frm all her kids. This is what d guy was taught, nd it's not as a result of fear, it just hw he was taught as a child. And I seriously hv my suspicion abt dat convo, no father will ask his kid to carry a course over. It's fabrication.
I'm telling u...Some Nigerians are so backwards...How can u be so afraid of your own dad? They think it respect...no no..This is slavery...God forbid me to be this scared of my parents
It is obvious a lot of you here did not pass through school, rather school passed through you. Its obvious that the boy was trying to be smart but the father was smarter. And pls what is wrong with calling your father sir? Omo Linda you dey try o...you probably see shit everyday..
