From what I noticed Simon is a brave lier Simon should be the one to really be investigated. probably he was angry about the way chiagozie mother accused him of stealing her phone and he wanted to react back by touturing the small boy (chiagozie) and unfortunately chiagozie died in the process..... And been that Alfa's house was close to the Crime scene he decided to impose it on Alfa but Alfa also contradicted himself but it might also be that Alfa was confused at that particular time and didn't know what to say... But my instinct keeps telling me Simon killed chiagozie.
I trust neither Simon nor Alfa. The young boy seems like a pretty good liar to me, considering what he said about the sim card. Alfa's contradictory statement doesn't make him guilty. That could have been because of his lack of proficiency in English. And remember, Simon said it was Alpha himself who came to take Chiagozie away.

From my view i think the 14 year old boy is the one that killed that young boy because if it was the Alfa that killed him, why would he put the corpse near his house and also this is my area and this has never happened before until that boy moved to the area. This is no ritual killing. Why would Kazeem kill him and leave him so close to his house. I believe he is innocent. I suspect Simeon 100 percent. The Police should ask the young boy what he did with the 500naira he claimed Kazeem gave him..

Without DNA sampling, we cannot really tell who killed the little boy. Simon sounded like he has some kind of link with alpha. Simon could have killed the little boy so as to traumatise the mother due to the phone theft allegation. Simon said alpha told he to be mute else he will kill him too, well alpha would only have said that to Simon only if Simon witnessed the murder or was at the crime scene so am sure Simon was present at the crime scene cos he knows how many times the boy was hit on the head. Alpha on the other hand could possibly have issues with the owner of the uncompleted property. He is an omonile and could possibly have eyes on that property so to him, killing someone in it could destabilise the owner and force them to sell the property off, in that way he wins. Alpha implicated himself when he said "the mother of the boy weh this boy bring come to my side". This is not an issue with English proficiency, it is a subconscious speech which he probably didn't know he made. No matter how hard you try to cover up you crime with lies, you will surely mistakenly confess when sporadic questions are thrown at you. My conclusion is both alpha and Simon were present at the crime scene and carried out the act simultaneously. The police claim they have a forensic lab in lagos and Abuja but that rock has more than enough DNA to nail the suspect. My backward country. God help us.
