Nigerian Army releases statement after declaring Journalist Ahmad Salkida wanted

The statement released by Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman, Acting Director Army Public Relations, reads
The world is quite aware of the abduction of several persons; women, children and men, including the female students of Government Secondary School Chibok, Borno State Nigeria by Boko Haram Terrorists group. Consequently, appeal was made for their unconditional release by the Federal Government. The military also made concerted efforts to rescue them.

We also appealed to Nigerians that have any information to volunteer to the military or security agencies to enable us rescue them.

However, two recent incidents have pointed to the fact that, there are three individuals namely; Ahmed Salkida, (Ambassador) Ahmed U. Bolori and Aisha Wakil that have information on the conditions and the exact location of these girls.

Therefore, the Nigerian Army hereby declare the two gentlemen and the lady wanted for interrogation. We are relying on the relevant laws of the land and in particular the Terrorism Prevention Act 2011 (as amended) where Nigerians could be punished for failure to disclose information about terrorists or terrorists activities.

This become necessary as a result of their link with the last two videos released by Boko Haram Terrorists and other findings of our preliminary investigations. There is no doubt that these individuals have links with Boko Haram Terrorists and have contacts with them. They must therefore come forward and tell us where the group is keeping the Chibok Girls and other abducted persons to enable us rescue them.

We are therefore calling on all Nigerians and peace loving people to give us useful information on their whereabouts. We are also liaising with other security agencies for their arrest if they failed to turn up.

@Nigeria security agencies, stop claiming to be intelligent! You guys are fools,,,,, how can you claim to be intelligent but you don't know how to track someone. You were supposed to track the guys down than declaring them wanted... be smart Nigeria zombies

When CNN showed proof of life video they were not put on wanted. List. Nigeria my country

I think the military should make discreet thier investigations or anyone they are inviting on terrorism matters instead of rushing to make some delicate pronouncement that could jeopardise such person or persons.I think underground search and questioning should have been proper.Except if security reportservices d3mands for that

You can't just declare someone who is not a terrorist or a traitor or a criminal wanted just bc you think u have authority.....

Too afraid to talk, everywhere now evil.

Some Nigerian Army officers & their stupidity. Do you publicly declare a man/woman that has information about terrorist WANTED or secretly invite him/her for interrogation to gather intelligence?
Please, be wise!

Despite President Buhari’s electoral promise to reduce petrol pump price from the N86.50 per litre that he met it and make life more bearable for Nigerians, he increased the price of petrol to N145, increased electricity tariff in spite of lack of power supply.

Food scarcity last experienced when Buhari was military Head of State between 1983 and 1985 has returned to the country, with Nigerians being unable to feed.

Nigerians should remove party, ethnic and religious sentiments and ask themselves what they have benefited in the last one year, Foreign Reserve was $28.6 billion, Excess Crude Account (ECA) was $2.07 billion, the dollar was
less than N200, petrol was N87 per litre and most importantly, one bag of rice was N8,500 and power generation was over 5,000MW when Buhari assumed office.

Today, power generation is less than 1,400, Foreign Reserve has reduced to $26.5 billion, dollar is now over N400, petrol has increased to N145 per litre and one bag of rice is now over N18, 000!

I read the president’s speech and all that I saw was a president still sounding like he was campaigning for votes more than one year after winning election. It is disappointing that the President’s speech was once again about promises, not about what has been done.

Not even a mention of one kilometre of road tarred by this administration, no single job was created except the ones created in Central Bank of Nigeria for their cronnies and children, not a single megawatt of electricity generated. This is shameful

APC the lying liars was deceiving Nigerians to see reasons with them condemning and politicizing all Jonathan’s good efforts which would have make life better to the people of Nigerians before now and we were busy raining curses on that God sent and gentle man Goodluck Jonathan thinking that he was our problem.

Oh! God please forgive my past mistakes of not believing Jonathan when he was explaining what him and his team has achieved to keep the nation moving forward despite the economic meltdown experiencing globally. At least life was slow and steady then and Jonathan pleaded for little patient with the good plans they have already put in place.

However, APC deceived Nigerians into believing their fake Change and empty promises and eventually succeeded with the power, and what we see today is baba go slow Buhari and APC are still campaigning against Goodluck Jonathan regime and PDP to protect their party interest after APC one year of incompetence in power and even succeeded in taking us backwardness despite been warned. BIG SHAME

Bunch of idiots.. why endanger the lives of the Chibok girls with statement as that? Does army intelligence Corps exist here? It cost less than $500 + 3 days only to track the 3 wanted persons. Not surprised. Very soon PMB will appoint an Hausa Muslim as DG of Nigerian Christian Pilgrims board. While Jagaban and Amaechi looks the other way, cos they have FIRS and NIMASA in their pockets. How sad.

I'm surprised at the Nigeria Army because I don't know where they got there training from. Are they suppose to declare this people wanted or to invite them Nicodemously, in order to extract information from them. Gosh, am ashamed for them because this will make other people to withhold information next time as well as make many to live in fear and then flee the country........The Nigeria army needs young people that are IT compliant
