Say what? The captain should know better. Why would he abandoned his ship for safety when he suppose to safe others first.

Thats nice
In Nigeria he would be celebrated because honestly there is nothing "bad" he did apart from saving his own hide! But that because corrupt and immorality have become common place here
Well deserved.

Titanic made me understand that the captain of the ship no matter what is also to go down with the ship if it sinks with passengers onboard. That prison sentence sha is well deserved
That wont bring d dead back.......but mite serve as a lesson to oda ship captain to protect their passengers first
If Nigeria were to be a sane country, this is exactly the kind of justice that would have been meted on Abba Moro and his crew after that NIS debacle
Ndi ocha! And there way of seeing things.

BORN TO SHINE!!!
Rubbish
This is how its done! Not like a country where many died from one man's selfishness and he's been allowed to walk freely cos he's a man of God!
Don't fink he desrved it,cos it was not his fault.
hmmmmm not sure about this
Too bad
If this happened in Nigeria he would have bribed his way out. Rotten corrupt country.
In a corruption ridden society, justice is rubished and so not served when deserved. In such cases sentiments, and other corrupt selfish considerations is prioritized over rights. God save our nation from the grips of corruption...AMEN!!!
U dey drink omo o! U not sure abt dis meaning linda dey lie or ur eye no dey wok well. Nna Nekwanu Ifeanyi ooo!
And GEJ, the captain of this ship "NIGERIA", that has recorded thousands of deaths has been applauded and is campaigning to captain the ship a second time. Since he cant be brought to book here, may God sentence him to life imprisonment in hell!!!
Is it his fault, while are they treating him that way?
