Missile from a Nigerian Air Force jet accidentally hits building in PH
The incident happened early this morning at the Woji Area of Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The Rivers State police commissioner told reporters that the jet was on routine maintenance at the NAF hangar in Port Harcourt when the missile accidentally took off and hit an uncompleted building a few kilometers away in Woji. Fortunately there was no death or injuries, just panic among residents.

Dammnnnnn! which kain rough play be dat???? thank God no one got hurt. dat was a dangerous one
Are u sure it wasn't Boko Haram (Hausa / Fulani) pilot using southerners as target practice? Northern pilots should not be allowed over southern airspace, especially my father's village :)
hahahahahaha i can imagine the panic and halter-skelter race way for don happen there. kai the fear of BH....but why being so careless n carefree with such thing?
That's Nigeria 4 u nothing ever works d way its supposed 2 work why? Don't ask me do a quick Google search & u will find 1,000,000 reasons why Nigeria is a Fu**ed up place 2 live in. #Justsaying
Nigeria !! even the jet looks outdated, im sure the screw holding the missile must have rusted....lol, thank God no one died, What's the point of amassing so much wealth when you can not defend yourself in time of war ,food for thought .
I wonder how a missile was left on an aircraft while it was being maintained in a service hangar .. And besides for those of us that know all about fighter jets .. For a missile to be fired it first has to have its safety cap switched of by those who load the ordnance , then armed from within the cockhole before the firing sequence is engaged .. So this story has some hidden stuff in it
Testing of 'Missile Guidance System' It appears the Nigerian military is posturing with its ordnance capabilities.
This will be a regular occurrence, with undertones of war games, its hard not to believe that the impending civil in 2015 is not fast approaching a reality.
Nigerians, we have brought this on ourselves, wake up. Turn the lights on.
We thank God there was no casuality. It happened a few miles away from my house, but he effect on everyone was terrible. Everyone ran for cover. Our mind went to BH attack! The sound n vibration was heavy.
Dis news is wrong,it was an unfinished,it was actually ma friend's family house,a story building...n d guy's dad jst got buried on tuesday,I'v told them to sue the bastards! What nonsense?!!
Linda, this happened closed to my house, two buildings away from mine. Even the police that came never knew what it was untill d airforce guys came. Will send u pix later.
I am Nneka Thank God it was a near miss!I trust NAF,heads will roll for this mistake.and to think they are usually super cautious with the fighter crafts maintenance....sad!
