See the hefty repair bill this guy got from his mechanic after his car got damaged in the Lekki flood

Twitter user @I_Maf, said he received a bill of N953,000 from his mechanic to fix his Honda Accord Cross Tour car that got ruined in the flood that swept through Lekki over the weekend. Many cars in Lekki, Victoria Island and Lagos Island broke down in the flood water...so it look like mechanics are set to cash in this week.

These mechanics do not have human feelings at all. Just on Saturday, I went for an occasion in Onimu and unfortunately the fan belt cut, this particular mechanic charged me #4.5k to buy just ONE belt. Thereafter after fixing he said his workmanship fee is 8,000 for changing a belt??????.. I don't understand!!!!

Sorry guy starting an engine after flood can damage your engine. Best is to remove the battery immediately and get a mechanic. Water in the air manifold or crank case can cause hydraulic lock in the engine dt will ruin the engine for good.

Mechanics no go chop? Let him go and buy a new car now.

Lekki mechanics are horrible. An iron brace once broke under my car,a mechanic said each brace costs 12,500,and I need two.I asked for directions to go buy it myslf...he says he doesn't know the directions but can find his way.suspecting foul play I convinced him to loose one out and come for the 25k next day.I headed straight to my igbo brothers in ladipo and bought same brace for 2k each.Thats 4k total.is that one not broad day 419 bikonu?
