Presidency Cabal in dilemma over Buhari – Fayose

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has said that the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Presidency cabal is in a state of dilemma as to whether to bring President Muhammadu Buhari back to the country with his present state or leave him in London, adding that; “The President has become a bad business for the cabal that imposed him on Nigerians.”

Governor Fayose, who insisted that Nigerians must be told the truth about the President’s state of health, said; “I told Nigerians then that President Buhari was a black-market packaged by the APC cabal that was only interested in seizing power by whatever means and now, I have been vindicated.”
In a statement issued on Monday, by his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, the governor said;
“For a President who has spent 113 days abroad taking care of his health out of the 191 days in 2017, it is time for Section 144 of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to be invoked.”
He said:
“President Buhari left Nigeria for London on May 7, 2017 and today is July 10, 2017, 64 clears days since Nigerians saw their President or heard anything from him. Even the President’s handlers are keeping Nigerians in the dark.

“Even though the number of days that a president can spend outside the country is not specified in the 1999 Constitution (as amended), the makers of the laws of Nigeria envisaged this kind of situation and made provisions for how to resolve it in Section 144.

“It has therefore become pertinent that the Federal Executive Council (FEC) must invoke Section 144 of the 1999 Constitution by passing a resolution declaring that President Buhari is incapable of discharging the functions of his office.”
Governor Fayose, who insisted that he was not interested in President Buhari’s death, said freeing Nigeria from the hands of those who are presently holding the country to ransom should be the major concern of all well-meaning Nigerians.
“They are always quick to tell Nigerians that there is an Acting President in person of Prof Yemi Osinbajo and as such, no vacuum government. However, we all know the limitations of the Acting President. We know that there are so many things Prof Osinbajo cannot do and Nigerians are the ones bearing the consequences of a bedridden President.”

This man remains an erratic & an unstable character. You have been barking at Buhari like a local dog & he's yet to as much as given you a whisper for a response,do you not have shame? Anyways ,what am I asking? A man who gave a 'press conference' at an empty train passengers podium cannot be well.

It would not be a bad idea for our men to start the revolution, since they always claim they are head of the house.

The people that suppose to invoke the section 144 of the constitution are the problems Nigeria and Nigerians have.the senators are afraid to move a motion of impeachment for president Buhari who they know is not capable of running the office because of his ill health, but I belt them that things can not continue this way Nigeria will take her Destiny by hands soon

You are one of the reasons that Nigeria is still backward and corrupt.let's keep sentiments apart.is what Gov Fayose said out of context? Truth be told, the masses are bearing the blunt.for posterity sake,is it not necessary that president buhari will resign so that Nigeria can move forward by the grace of God instead of holding the economy to a halt.he should emulate Goodluck Jonathan that bowed out so as to avert blood shed.pls always be constructive rather than being subjestive.

Apparently, you seem to have forgotten how Lai Mohammed & his Apc cohorts insulted GEJ at every slightest opportunity they had during GEJ's presidency.
This is politics so Fayose is only doing the right thing for the opposition (PDP) and by the way, as Nigerians, we deserve to know the true state of our President' health...even you do...I just can't comprehend the rationale behind your thought hence comment

Please where is 'Bonario Nnags' and 'Davido's Driver', staunch APC/Buhari's supporters, to comment on this story? It would be nice to read their OBJECTIVE comments, if they can provide any.

Consider the analytics for the comments on this story. Notice that not a single name of someone from the South-Western part of Nigeria has commented. The South-West was predominantly pro-APC and Pro-Buhari leading up to the election of 2015. Yet notice that it is predominantly people of the South-East and South-South extraction providing objective commentary for a situation that would eventually benefit those from the South-West if and when the Acting President eventually assumes full authority and is declared the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Please dont hate on this comment. This is simple analytics that even Google conducts frequently.

For the faceless anonymous people & very clearly uninformed Igbo brothers & sisters here, you mean a looter like THE MAN IN EKITI is telling you the truth? He knows why he is barking like a dog? His immunity will soon be lost and all the monies he has stolen would have to be accounted for. Meanwhile, before you sound off on me,what did PDP do for ALL OF YOU besides sharing our common wealth to themselves? We still don't have light? Our roads are still terrible? Our hospitals are mortuaries? Our education is dead! Pipe borne water has become borehole water! Should I continue? You guys should stay there & be supporting that scoundrel. Don't look at how your country & future was bled. Let your hatred for the old Buhari blind you to facts.una never see suffer. It is still in front. What is my own? I have a beautifully paying job,I have a career & profession.i cannot suffer in any way.But you guys, I dey pity una. They will use propaganda to get back the government & the looting will continue.By the time you all realise it,you are 50 & poor. Ndo nu oh! Onweghi Ihe ozo mga Ekwu.
