Sahara Reporters publisher, Omoyele Sowore, reacts to Ilorin court judgment asking him to pay N4bn in damages to Saraki

An Ilorin High Court in Kwara state yesterday ordered Sahara Reporters and its publisher, Omoyele Sowore, to pay N4 billion in damages to Senate President Bukola Saraki, over some reports published about him on the news portal from September 2015 to December 2015. Saraki told the court that the reports were libelous. Omoyele has reacted via his Facebook page.

My god mum LOST almost 95 percent of her savings through Saraki's bank. Her life has NEVER BEEN THE SAME. Meanwhile he is walking about, trying to bully people smh
All these people that cry "persecution" are the once that don't tolerate people stepping on their toes. See how he dealt with Ndume and now it is Sowore he is trying to fight. That judge needs to be investigated by EFCC immediately.
You can imagine someone like Saraki being the president with this unforgiving spirit, that is when people will know President Buhari is an angel

Yes Saraki may pay one day, but Sowore you can't certain of that. One thing that is certain though is that there is a judgment against you at this moment, jungle court or not, he is one up on you and you could be the one coughing up money shortly if you don't keep quiet and appeal. This issue can drip pain of burning plastic on you.

Propaganda = Alternative Truth = Lies easily sells. Yes it does! Yet, there will always be a price to pay when sensational stories that whip up strong human emotions cannot be defended in a court of competent jurisdiction.
Resorting to name-calling, use of derogatory words, insulting the judiciary, and making references to other atrocities committed is not the solution.
Omoyole Sowore and Sahara Reporters should simply appeal the judgement and prepare to defend their position with facts. Otherwise the judgement of the court is enforceable. Make no mistake about this fact! Publishing additional damaging true or false story can not wish away the court judgement.
Traditional and online media organizations as well as blogs can learn a thing or two from the recent embarrassing experience of CNN. If a story published cannot be substantiated, quickly tow the path of honor and dignity by retracting and unreservedly apologizing.

IS IT NOT THE NIGERIAN COURTS THAT ARE AT THE MERCY OF THE POLITICIANS, SO WHAT DO YOU EXPECT

You Emeka are a liar. The whole world knows that the closure of the Saraki bank SGBN was political, the Saraki's dragged the government to court for unlawful closure, won the case, and re-opened the bank has Heritage Bank. Yes money was stuck for years, including SGBN's money, but everybody got their money back when SGBN re-opened. There is no need to lie about any mother that lost her so called savings. Now you have decreed it, you fake mother must lose her savings. Shikena, Emeka d liar.

Typical fake pastorian dullardeen. While you are sending efcc to look at judge don't forget to send efcc to check why Buhari is suffering cancer in UK hospital and why Osinbajo the dwarf midget is irredeemably short as the evil duo taste the wrath of God.

Please you anonymous 21:27, stop this rubbish you are talking about!! My aunty lost her money in that bank and until now, she hasn't been paid back her money. They keep turning her and asking for different proofs. This person I am talking about is over 80 years old.

Maybe you were paid to come and post this very insensitive nonsense here or you are just a completely heartless and cruel human being.

THEY STILL HAVEN'T PAID BACK THE MONEY PEOPLE WITHOUT CONNECTIONS DEPOSITED!!
