NLC protests at Lagos State Secretariat, Alausa, Ikeja (Photos)

Nigeria Labour Congress in Lagos State took their protests to the Lagos State Secretariat, Alausa, Ikeja, today. According to reports, they blocked a junction leading to the secretariat, then entered the premises and began disturbing government activities by harassing workers for not obeying the announced strike action. Officers from the Rapid Response Squad were immediately deployed to handle the situation. More photos after the cut.

If only FG will listen, they should on priority wise resolve the pressing issues bothering the economy.The increment of electricity tariff and fuel price will add to their failure if care is not taken.

Very good one. They should disrupt everything. It's just a couple of days after the fuel increment and prices of foodstuffs have skyrocketed in the market.
