'It is time to speak up' - Yvonne Jegede shares her thoughts on the unemployment crisis in Nigeria

Actress, Yvonne Jegede has had enough of people acting like everything is going on fine in the country. She took to her Instagram page to share a photo of the lady who trended on social media for stepping out with a cardboard paper to cry out for a job, and shared her thoughts on the current unemployment situation in Nigeria, saying this is not the time to manage but the time to speak up. What she wrote after the cut...

Please help tell this lady to calm down, she will soon get broke. She should rather be setting up a foundation to help the needy rather than making noise like a saint here. Education is key. I wonder whether most of these Nigerian alaroro performers have anything sensible to say.

But she made sense for crying out loud.

Why was that so difficult to see? Bonario and Royal Priest hood, I expected better from the both of you. Just cos you didn't say it does not make it lame.

Are you not tired of the way things are in this Country and everyone going about like its nothing?

Someone decided to say something about it and you both are making a mockery of it.

I am a fan of you both and today I am disappointed by your comments...

Foundation to help the needy? Why can't we ever hold her politicians responsible and demand what we want? We pay for every single Thing we use, criminals are increasing everyday, every police stations are being attacked now, even those earning 18 k will soon start robbing people. God help us O.

Bonario is a senseless idiot. A fundamental fanatic, blinded by hate. Go get a life. this government is a real definition of clueless. Goodluck was better. #Please bring back our corruption#

At least she is doing something by speaking up. Instead of you to join and speak up, you are busy talking about her setting up a foundation. Are you a begger? Beggy, Beggy somebody...

People are not going about like it's nothing. It's just that we r in a helpless situation .all we cn do is wait till 2019 to vote. I hv bn at home snc 2011 no job. D few fed jobs r occupied by politicians children. I gt depressed most times. The thing now is pple prefer supporting parties instead of the person ruling us. I just pity d youths of this country. Mr bonario, I hv bn reading ur comments lately but am so so ashamed of u. Is it until someone stabs u cos of 100 naira. Befr u know what pple r going through. Pple cnt feed for crying out loud.

the only problem i have wit some nigerians is their foolishness, you dont have good thing to say because you have no sense probably, and you wont let the person who is saying have her way, i cant even fathom where you belong with this your oppository comment always, thats why we find it difficult to know way forward since some are pushing while others are pulling, incase some polithiefcians are giving you your future small small in 1, 1 thousand naira at every vote or negative respone to disunify youths from thinking straight, you better change before their children start ruling you again and by then you will be their gate man.........NIGERIAN YOUTH WITH ONE VOICE CAN TACKLE THE PRESENT SITUATION.....dont allow them to buy your future with a thousand naira every 4 years.

The level of pretense among Nigerian youths is quite alarming. You will see them on social media forming one thing or the other. If you don't open your mouth to seek for help, how would people know what you're passing through. I opened up a blog to inspire young men and women in the country to rise above the challenge of joblessness. But how many of them care read my posts? They would prefer Chelsea vs Man U when important issues of their lives lie unattended to. Until we set our priorities right, we'll continue to get the same undesirable results.
