Northants Police, UK has arrested two more suspects in connection with the death of 32-year-old Nigerian man, Adeyemi Olugbuyi. Olugbuyi went missing after reportedly
having an altercation in the Thorplands area of Northampton. Police
said he was also known as 'Baz' or 'Big Man' and has not contacted
friends or family since 13 September 2013.
Below is the statement issued yesterday, Thursday, May 19 by Northants Police Commissioner, on the arrest:
"A 30-year-old man from Northampton has been arrested on
suspicion of murder in connection with the investigation of a body that
was discovered in Billing Brook Road, Northampton in January.
A 37-year-old man, from Northampton, was also interviewed in connection with the death of Adeyemi Olugbuyi.
The
latest developments this week, come three months after the body of
Adeyemi Olugbuyi was discovered in undergrowth in Billing Brook Road and
a murder investigation was launched.
This follows two earlier
arrests on 26 February, when two men were also arrested on suspicion of
murder and currently remain on police bail.
Officers continue to
try to establish the circumstances which led to the death of 32-year-old
Adeyemi Olugbuyi, who was last seen in that area in September 2013.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact police. "
