Nigerians among 700 who died in boat mishap in the Mediterrenean sea

There were a few Nigerians in the boat that capsized in the Mediterranean sea early yesterday April 19th claiming the lives of about 700 people. The illegal migrants drowned while on their way from Libya to Italy.

With yesterday's accident, it means that at least 1,500 migrants have died so far in 2015 while on route to Europe - and some of them are Nigerians.

Lol... sorry I didn't mean to laugh but this our country is so fucked up. I don't judge them but we have to make our nation better for nonsense like this to stop. We Nigerians are a disgrace to ourselves..

I read a story sometime time back were one of the survivors of a 'boat mishap' talked about how the Italian coast guard moved around their ship and immediately after that their ship started to sink and the coast guards left. The truth is that most of this mishaps are carried out by the government itself. We understand its not easy having foreigners in droves coming to their country illegally but please they should look for an alternative to stop it instead of outright murder of Africans and then coming out to act like it was just an accident.
