Parading the rescued women and some of the workers in the baby factory, the state commandant of NSCDC, Andy Dateer, said the baby factory is named Nma Charity and Motherless Babies’ Home, and that the owner who is now at-large, brings in men to impregnate the girls. He said after delivery, the babies are sold, and the mothers paid peanuts.
He said three children under the age of two, who were being prepared for sale, were rescued while four ‘social workers’ and four men were arrested in the raid. See more photos...
One of the pregnant women was reportedly very ill and in a critical condition. She was immediately rushed to the hospital for medical attention.
Mr Dateer said the NSCDC will monitor the repatriation of the girls back to their respective homes.

This isn't the first time the state will be in the news for a story like this...
Nawao! Which kind of country is this, always reading embarrassing news. And these wrinkled, pimple-faced old women doesn't understand the consequences of throwing their legs open to some retards without the preconceived awareness of HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted related diseases. Nawao.
Thank God the place was found. God help the women.

What is responsible for this kinds of phenomenon, when will our leaders and politicians learn to do the right things.
Poverty, ignorance and lack of basic needs of life.

Rescued? Who carry them go there before? They look well fed for captives!
what i don't seems to understand is if the spare part business is no longer lucrative in igbo land? why is it that these ppl do not have human feelings? i believe noon of these girls are bellow 10 they should be a severe punishment to these girls especially. i don't think at their age they were tight to that factory or being forced to have sex; they enjoy both the sex and the money given to them. their parents too has be punish for subjecting their girls and women to take such business as a means of livelihood not minding the fact that the babies they are selling might be for ritual purpose. May God Have mercy on them. I pray God to continue to forgive our sins in this country.
Nawao what a pathetic sight.
What have we reduced ourselves to coz of money?
Its quite unfortunate the length we could go to make money.

I cry whenever i read this. Human lives are suppposed to be valued/cherished and not traded. Innocent babies/children for that matter. Lord please have mercy and touch the hearts of men.

There is poverty in the Land! That money they seek is not even enough for feeding. Pathetic.
How can it be termed "rescued" when obviously they are all in it for the money? I'm sure they didn't bargain for this now, cos raising those kids when they eventually give birth wont be easy except they are all moved to a care facility. Strange things are happening in this country sha...
