Please 38 years is too much. Nobody is perfect. It would be different if a girl was abused by a man. For boys of that age, it might be the fulfillment of fantasies. Their friends would even see them as a heroes! I can understand his mother's fury. Even if he were 30, most women hate the idea of their sons being intimate with anyone. A father of a 12 year old boy wouldn't be so shattered by the thought of a woman giving his son oral pleasure. Women have this emotional attachment and possessiveness about their boys, manifested in the notorious mother-in-law problem.

But I gave to disagree with you for justifying rape and incest.
Because someone was raped while he or she was young does not mean that person should grow up and be a rapist.
If somebody steal from you while you were young, would you grow up and become a thief?
Your stepfather should have done serious time in prison for raping you. Rapist are not insane. They are just rapists . It is a diservice to people with mental disorders when a rapist is taking the insanity plea when he or she should be cooling his heels in prison.
