I am a believer that every tribe or ethnicity is entitled to their sovereignty hence the formation of groups like Ndi-Igbo, Afenifere e.t.c.

All this noise making stems from the fact that he conveniently uses Lagos State (a former federal capital)as a benchmark for the Yoruba nation- and rightly so! However, when Nigeria moved her federal office headquarters to Abuja, rapid development became (and still is) the order of the day.
Conversely, if Nigeria decides to move her capital to other parts of the country, say Rivers, Benue, Kaduna, Kano, Imo or Anambra States, the same level of development will also be evident in these states; hence, creating the same level of cultural diversities, socio-political and economic opportunities Lagos and Abuja have experienced over the course of Nigeria's existence.
That being said, we must acknowledge our differences; seek to understand our worldviews, and let constructive, rather than divisive discourse, guide us towards nation building.
