Illiterate things! When a statement does not originate from you, you put it in quotes. This guy's English isn't that good, he was the one who 'cover face' the other day. I think he has complex problem.

Isabel Dos Santos

Isabel Dos Santos of Angola

Saudi-Ethiopian billionaire Mohammed Al-Amoudi is no longer the richest black person in the world. He has been ousted by Nigerian cement tycoon Aliko Dangote, who is worth an estimated $16.1 billion. That’s $2.6 billion richer than Al-Amoudi.

American TV mogul Oprah Winfrey and newcomer Isabel dos Santos of Angola are the only black female billionaires on the FORBES billionaires list.

Suit, jeans, both are pieces of clothing, so what's the big deal? Late Steve Jobs of Apple loves his blue Levi jeans, such a humble man.

Peter Okoye, you get paid by your fans who attend your gigs and buy your records. Anyway, you are not literate enough to make that kind of statement.

Its not this idiot's original tweet.
He lifted it from somewhere.
What made me have a good laugh was when i saw the 1st pic.
Telling someone to take a shot of him while tryna grab a drink.
Foming this aloof look.
He looks stupid.
Ever heard of humility?
Idiot.

Unknown said...

i will only agree with u if presidents dey wear jeans.lol

Unknown said...

People definitely must have different views about things but to me, the guy is just trying to say "BE THE BOSS" Some people in suit don't even work for people in Jean and T-shirt, they work for people in 3/4 and shirt. The boss has no official wears sometimes. Na Naija we even dey value suit and tie, in my IT firm in the states here, if u like wear 3/4, as far as ur brain dey work 10/10, e no concern anybody. The guy just dey catch hin fun mehn. Make una take am easy. But to me, he just inspired me to be the BOSS sha ooo...

Anonymous said...

Yeah yeah. Pride cometh before a fall. a man only looks handsome if he earns a living, irrespective of who the f'ing boss is

Ure right, bro i think hes becoming a little cocky. People full wey get money pass sm

Unknown said...

Something is obvious here. The angry birds are those who are in suit and wished they could switch to jeans and T shirt.. Lemme pimp the statement.. 90% of Men in suits are broke before the third week of the month... Suit na packaging.

Anonymous said...

Abeg y'all shld tk several seats! First of all, this is a stolen tweet, OOMF tweeted abt 5days ago; Men in suit look kool until u find out dah they work for men in T-shirts" and I retweeted it! Nigerians, u guys always tk dis personal!!! N that he was broke baq then doesn't mean he shld not joke again afterall u Neva dashed him ur money, he worked hard 4 it n earned it! In anoda twist, dis tweet cld mean dah in Nigeria, talent n handwork pays off more than some "white collar job" so plz giv him a brk! U Neva get money so u dnt evn hw if u r humble or not! 4 y'all lots sayin Tuface is humble now, aint u guys d same monsters dah hv bn callin him a fool n dah he's proud 4 not inviting black face n KK 2 his wedding? Anonymous said...

Just one word. Crass!

Anonymous said...

He copied an already existing quote and added 'like me"

Anonymous said...

I think it's a pretty witty comment, depends on how u see it; dude is just expressing himself, i normally don't find their comments in good taste, but you have to see where he is coming from reflecting on the impression Nigerian parents used to have about musicians and how the 'suit and tie' way was the way to go...who's smiling now?lol THE GREMLIN HAS SPOKEN!

InservTech said...

Totally agreed with this, has any one seen Facebook boss and Steve Jobs apple boss when he was alive. They both wear jeans and the have men in suit working for them.

Anonymous said...

It is good to have money but it is even better if you are well educated and humble.

Ruby said...

Its not his fault,I blame those who contributed to their success and are mumu enough to go gaga over them, didnt his father wear tie once or was he a carpenter or bricklayer? Ode of the highest order.

Jhey Lara Magazing said...

Fun is good, making fun is also good but remember this, never ever forget your humble beginnings, (with or without a silver spoon)because, when you were starting out you dared not say such on air or have you forgotten the man in the bible who boasted that he's barn was full. What did God tell him after he made that careless statement, his soul was required of him that night!. Your career would have DIED! even before taking off, silly stupid boy! You had better watch your mouth and always give thanks to God Almighty everyday!Morning and night.

Anonymous said...

true talk, but he failed to realized that men in suits speak better English and are more educated than he is....Peter its a trade off

Anonymous said...

I don't agree. do you pay people like Dangote & Bill Gates.
They wear suits, not childish immature dressing, do you pay men in agbada? he's probably refering to his body gaurds.

Anonymous said...

wots with u not posting my comments?........

Anonymous said...

He might not mean to hurt but he should be mindful of the fact that fans view actions of celebrities in different directions. Tuface might not be saint, but has remained an 'ideal' for all Nigerian celebrities to study. That guy is so humble and can hardly be heard making careless statements about his wealth. Most celebrities who have enduring and lasting fan bases, are those who are quiet and level headed about their fame and fortune, they don't court publicity, they don't draw unnecessary attention to themselves, Genevieve Nnaji, Dakore Egbuson, Kanu Nwanwko, Agbani Darego, etc. Humility is a virtue that takes one very far, learn that Peter and enjoy your fame.

Anonymous said...

There's even a book about it!! I saw the book like 3years ago.. He just added 'like me' because he's a silly dumb ass!

Anonymous said...

dats so boastful and imprudent of him......we all knw dat, y remind us?...

when men in T-Shirt and Jeans go for private occasions where they are paid huge amount of money, who pays them this amount? the truth is...yes these men in T-Shirt and Jeans are quite successful, but those in Suits are more successful..... The evidence is there for all to see.

Carlos Slim Helu, the richest man in the world wears suits so does a lot of other wealthy people, its a personal thing. As we all know, investment bankers are rich and yet wear suits. P.Diddy wears suits most of the time. Peter saying that is a little myopic though

Anonymous said...

IT IS IRRELEVANT WHETHER THE PHRASE IS HIS ORIGINATION OR NOT. IT IS CLEAR HE RE-POSTED IN AGREEMENT WITH THE STATEMENT. CELEBRITIES (ACTORS AND ARTISTES) SHOULD ALWAYS REMEMBER THIS:

THEIR SUCCESS NOT ONLY THRIVES FROM THEIR TALENT (BECAUSE THERE ARE MYRIAD TALENT-FULL PEOPLE OUT THERE) RATHER IT THRIVES ON THEIR FANS AND THE COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT OF THE CONSUMING PUBLIC.

MY DEAR PETER OKOYE; THE MEN IN SUIT WORK FOR YOU - SO THAT YOU CAN WORK FOR US - WHO IN TURN ARE MEN IN SUITS. IT'S A CATCH 22!

WHEN WE (THE FANS - THE CONSUMING PUBLIC WITH THE $$ WHICH PAYS FOR YOUR CONCERTS AND APPEARANCES) ... WHEN WE DECIDE WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF YOU... WE WILL FIRE YOU AND MOVE ON TO THE NEXT MUSE!

SO ENJOY YOUR TIME IN THE LIMELIGHT, SPEND WISELY BECAUSE THIS GIG NEVER EVER LASTS FOR LONG!

Anonymous said...

When the realisation of the lack of schooling dawns on a man, it is not hard to tell. Please tell Peter Okoye that I'd rather be a Micheal Omolayole, Gamaliel Onosode and Christopher Kolade now and in retirement, than a Fatai Rolling Dollar or Bobby Benson. Enjoy it whilst it lasts Pete!

Anonymous said...

Peter you are just a mediocart, how much do you have? Can you compare your self to dangote? he is successful does he works for you? Mumu

Ekpenyong said...

@Peter Okoye

Men in T-shirt and jeans look successful until you find out they cannot be successful and manage their careers and money without the men in suits.

That one dey too !!!

Also, young man, please quit philosophizing and concentrate on what you best know how to do... entertaining and music.

Thanks

I say BOYCOTT his concert and DO NOT BUY HIS CDs for a year, this will teach him how to talk..he's lucky he lives in a country where people idolize money,,if it was here..dude will be in line at the nearest job center in South London in less than a year..MORON!!!

@Steve Moore. 'Mediocart'? Should have been 'Mediocre'.

IF this Peter boy doesn't calm down, his fall may be sudden and dramatic. There are many people out there who are more talented than you but never found fame or wealth. If God in HIS infinite mercy decided make you rich and famous, you should be humble and thankful to HIM all the time. God who took you up can also bring you down. Read your bible, examples abound.

Anonymous said...

Well he's rich nw so all ur saying is CRAP *yawns*

Anonymous said...

I'm sorry but he is right in some sense...men who make the big bucks in the world don't look it and have a battalion of suited men working for them round the clock...if you don't like the truth haters, take a truth pill
