This one's the best so far! Good job Airtel! Good job!

Ok, MTN and econet/zain/Airtel/celtel/zmobile have done their own, glo will just parade celebs with no relevant message, etisalat will now release the baddest of them all. I can actually picture the skit...armed robbers stealing from the poor, until Robin Hood comes to rescue us. Gbam

Anonymous said...

Love Airtel's Ad! Same message, different tactic. Responsible, ethical.

@ anon 12:58 - MTN used Saka to show how scared they are of Etisalat. Lol

Anonymous said...

No!!! This is crazy!! Let the porting war begin :)

I always see this with most Nigerians, they have beautiful houses but without good paved laid roads. This shows the selfishness and greed behaviour that has turn to culture. The untared road lowers the value of the edifice. Why can't landlords tare the roads to make the country a paradise?

Anonymous said...

What a weak promo!! una no see the one of ya broda mtn? Your weak promo makes me want to move over to mtn.
The good nigeria

Hmmn, na wa O. C confirm marketing strategy being put up by dz telecommunication companies, it's all well n gud anyways. Well, afterall is said n done, i personally do not like Mtn network 4 anyfn even doh i'v got an mtn line as my 2nd line due 2 popular demand. My 1st network is Airtel n i enjoy dia low call rates, besides dia network is hardly congested unlike Mtn n is always available even in remote villages. My 3rd line Etisalat which i use in browsing makes me feel gud with dia low browsing rates, free MBs n quick connectivity speed. As 4 Glo, hmmn.. Me no sabi anyfn 4 dia own network O!!

Anonymous said...

Airtel should have also included other people moving from a green house(GLO/ETISALAT) to a red house...he he he laff wan kill me die

Anonymous said...

mmmh sexy voice

mav said...

Mtn advert still remains viable, sociable n enviable especially with †Ñ’ξ dynamic feature of †Ñ’ξ lead character.
Airtel, this looks too absurd n complicated to be appreciated.

Anonymous said...

Veeeeeery lame. Haba!

Blackberry said...

I don't rili undastand, what's d advantage of porting?

Anonymous said...

Mtn didn't start it, its a joint intiative approved by NCC for users to be able to port frm one network to anoda using same number. U can hav mtn nos and use airtel network.

damie said...

Are you a learner?

Anonymous said...

Hahaha y evils

tipslodge.com said...

they are not telling us how they are improving their network

Nekosi said...

Nice concept. Nothing Out of the ordinary. Easy to appreciate. I was entertained by MTN's advert, but If I had to chose, I'd be more inclined to prefer Airtel's. The funny thing is that both adverts are really good and appeal to 2 diff pple. If one of the networks had both adverts, twould be awesome.

Ode can't u read

Anonymous said...

It's called number portability. I wrote about it twice on this blog under mtn youth promo but madame refused to post them. OZ

Obinna Enemuo said...

Lol, wishing for the same. I like the way you think

Anonymous said...

That means no more tampering with ones balance from them esp ETisalat! OZ

Unknown said...

Abeg saka advert na for the general public. Very interesting. This is for more matured mind. And the matured minds have all sim cards they may not need to port. I prefer mtn advert sha

Anonymous said...

Anonymous said...

Do people still do dat shit?

Anonymous said...

Anonymous said...

Wow! I love this..this will actually give the network providers a chase for their Dough..its no longer a case of they are everywhere you go with poor network..more greaze to NCC's Elbow...I don port Oo弡 ..lol

Unknown said...

chai! sh*t just got real ooo! MTN oya catch your sub fast fast nd return am!!! lmfao!!!!!!!!!11

Anonymous said...

what is port abeg? i like that actor in the commercial and those houses look unreal, quite beautiful.

Anonymous said...

Please can someone tell the chief marketer in airtel, he needs to be more conceptual. this ad was too descriptive, whats with the yellow to red house move?

they don't need to step on toes to put an ad up. Mtn has simply done a good job without infringing on anyone's privacy.

Anonymous said...

Wow, this is awesome. I don port go airtel ooo!

Nonso said...

OMG! Awesome advert.

Just Me said...

LOL!!! Menh! this is just getting really funny.. Kudos to Airtel, really creative one from dem, honestly didn't expect something as cool as this.
Glo's ad was so drab, almost slept off. Couldn't event get the message.
Now, MTN did an awesome job (can't believe i just said that)even though their network is crappy.

Just Me said...

Come to think of it, why the porting ish???
We all know that all networks in Nigeria are not 100% good although some (like MTN) are just too bad. Would u rather port to MTN and face poor network service and wait until 90 days to port back to ur formal line or have ur 2 or 3 phones with all networks in each and when anyone fucks up u pick up the other phone and make ur calls in less than 90 days/in just 1 sec. I rather have 2 phones...

igwe_d_koko@hotmail.com said...

has mtn sued them yet?
