Legislooters - article by Charly Boy

Read his piece below...
My people. Where I wan hide my face put. Shey una don take ear dey hear the arrant nonesense and jagbagantis wey dey shelle for National Assembly. The drama, the blackmail, the clowning around of-most of the riffraffs called senators, whose sole aim of representing us, is to loot us into oblivion. Useless people elevated by the corrupt system to a position beyond their capacity.
My people can see that these bunch of irresponsibles are only down for how much they can acquire, and never about the wellbeing of the people they represent. God Biko punish bad people no remain. Nonesense.
The few good ones who are trying to hold on to some goodness in them, should hide their face in shame.

Our Mumu don do, no be till we die or till we all craze. Can you imagine? They are halting the screening of the President Electoral Commissioners of 36 States until the President sacks Mr Ibrahim Magu
(acting chairman of The EFCC).

Legislooters, why must you guys insist on showing ya selves, and showing us how irresponsible most of you are, my fellow frustrated Naijas have come to the conclusion that most of the decisions you guys take is not in the interest of Nigerians but your pockets.

Like it or not, Magu is not going anywhere.
It is the Presidents prerogative to retain him or appoint someone else. The decision of the senate to reject him or sack him can only be advisory and not compulsory. There is no Law yet that binds the President to abide by any decision from these legislooters. It is there fucking constitutional duty to screen the Electoral Commissioners.

Look at all manner of 419ers, scammers, riffraffs, conmen that we allowed to invade our National Assembly. What a shame. See how we endlessly waste Nigerian revenue on a bunch of certificate forgers, armed rubbers and riffraffs. My people Shey una know say, each senator earns a minimum of 30million per month when for many of us, one solid meal a day has become luxury. We must occupy the National Assembly soon and the option to decide whether we need the senate or not is our right. The President should hurry and put this to a referendum if we can still afford to fund such expensive senate when Nigerians are poor, hungry, angry and hopeless.

Most of our yeye legislooters have demonstrated that they are a devilish cult group whose sole aim is to keep enriching themselves never minding if my people are jumping off the third mainland out of hopelessness and a stolen future. God no go punish una remain.

My fellow frustrated Nigerians, time don reach to teach these legislooters say Na we get the land. I know for a fact, that because of our docility these enemies of the Nigerian state feel they can do anyhow. But sooner than later, dem go see anyhow. If dem no take time Na their blood we go take wash the land. The battle for the heart and soul of Nigeria has begun. We no go gree this time, because our Mumu don reach final bus stop. We dey prepare because we dey come in all our glory. How many of us Una go fit kill because for most of us, the fear of death is no longer a problem because this no b life. You gangstarr have proven say nationalism no concern una.

Corruption has for long empowered the criminal minority to terrorise the silent majority. The end has come. The day is drawing near when the suffering masses of this country will seek their pound of flesh from those who have kept us poor, frustrated, hungry, angry, useless, hopeless. Pickin wey say him mama no go sleep, that pickin will know no sleep.
My people are about to metamorphosis from becoming a victim to becoming The Fear.
If our yeye leaders no fear us, change no go come.
We are coming.

Go now go register if your mumudondo at. www.ourmumudondo.org

godfather I disagree with you completely on Magu. There is seperation of power. It is the president's right to appoint and the Senate to confirm but once the Senate rejects the president need to nominate another. But do you really think Magu did himself good by defending himself of the corruption allegations during plenary?godfather I like and respect you but let's seperate the issues. The president must be seen as respecting the rules of democracy. The issue of big salaries is totally different and we must all resist it so we can move forward.Same DSS invaded judges and we all hail them how is Magu security report different? Is he the only Nigerian?

Lets invade the National Assembly once more and use the blood of these legislooters to wash the land

With all due respect Mr. Oputa, I beg to disagree with your opinion on this issue. Yes agreed, things are actually not working how we expect it to work now and there is no argument about that. But I tell you Sir, the reason we are still feeling we are a nation, breathing democracy and can even say our mumu don do is because of this legislators. I might not have a dime in my pocket at this moment doesn’t mean, I shouldn’t know when someone is playing with my intelligence. Left to the executive arm of this government their game plan is to play the role of the “Almighty” like when they roar, everyone should take off or take cover or how do you explain the breaking into Judges home in the middle of the night without your having to invite them for investigation in the name of fighting corruption? Silencing all oppositions so to make themselves Kingkong, stealing bags of rice from poor Sango ota traders at midnight in the guise of curbing smuggling?, illegal detention of Nnadi Kalu in detention even after so many court injunction to free him? Or is it the new policy the Controller General of Customs wanted to implement and so on? With these few highlight one might want to ponder, is this government? Autocracy in democracy?
My people, am not a politician neither do I have a relation in the legislature or know any legislature on one on one basis, its just simple application of logic (0’s and 1’s). I tell you I have not seen a more focused legislative house like the one we have now, amidst every distraction and scandal doctored by the executive arm of government to make the legislators look feeble, incompetent so as to break their wings just the way they did PDP and almost did Jonathan. They still remain focused and resolute in their task of sustaining democracy. This does not in any way make them saints either.
How can a government govern his people at this age and century by bullying the same people its suppose to cater for and protect, who does that? The executive is a distraction to its self, and am obviously not surprised because they are steering without a course and blue print, because if they do you won’t tell me you will kill mosquito in your bedroom and leave out a poisonous snake in the guise of trying to prevent yourself from having malaria.
Can someone please explain the reason why when this executives came on board the first thing they did was to go to war with the Legislature by going after Saraki with all their might as if he is Shekau or bokoharam, or discrediting PEJ administration so much as plaguing his government with corruption and everything about his administration bat, forgetting that it is the same administration they are condemning so much that gave them the peoples mandate through the ballot box. Somebody tell me who is fooling who? Our mumu don really do.
I stand with this legislature, they have rekindled my hope in this nation, praying that God will continue to grant you the wisdom and strength to continue to sustain this democratic institution of ours.

I have lost my respect for CharlyNuisance. I guess that why the father wasnt too happy with him. You only protest to Legislators if you want a law to be made, or when a law benefial to common man is not approved. So Charlynuisance stop missinforming the public please.

Uncle Charley-boy, regardless the level of respect I have for you, I want unequivocally inform you that i missed it big time.....Most hapless Nigerians appreciate what the National Assembly are doing right now. That's called checks and balances. I learnt it(not in the Uni)sec sch. If Buhari wants to fight corruption, Amechi, OBJ, The grass-cutting man, Buratai, etc should first be arrested and prosecuted, just the exact way you treated some Nigeria's jusges....Men you could never in your 10th live, attained their level of academic heights. Nonsense!

Fuel hike? What? I'm so sure you didn't read this article. Nonentities like you are the reason why this country is the way it is. Someone is courageously raising his voice to question the stupidity going on in our senate, and then there are fools like you who think only southwards...literally.

Get a brain or get lost.

Gregory said or whatever you name yourself, all I want to suggest is to examine if your brains were removed. No wonder you are here daily trying to trick people, trying to separate people from their hard earned money with some phony claim of penis enlargement, and you do this using Linda Ikeji for free.

The type of mindset you have is perplexing, a lot of animals reason better than you.

Why am I wasting words on you sef? Take my advice and stop offering opinions here, its always crass stupid exposure of your educated illiteracy.

My name: Chika

Greg it's bcos of people like you that this country remains in the dark. So bcos Jonathan looted we should give this bunch of criminals their own turn and everyone should keep quiet. Don't worry, you will soon find yourself standing on Third mainland

Must Nigerians on this forum curse to put their point of view across when responding to another opinion? If you cam make your point without exhibiting your terrible upbringing better you refrain from writing. Your ignorance is so blatant. With folks like these those looters in the state houses and in Abuja have nothing to fear. They know you are ignorant of the facts.

Anonymous said...

I take it his father has relevance to the salient points he made? Your bringing up Charles's dad speaks volume about your logic. Stop exhibiting your ignorance sir. The Senate can not force the president to fire his appointee. Have you wondered why they want him gone? Exactly what misinformation specifically can you name?

FRESH said...

Gregory,he wasn't berating this government. He is talking about the criminals in the senate. The criminals in our midsts who have become politicians. Those even pressing PMB down not to function.

These legislooters cannot be our watchdog, it was reported that Sen. Melaiye was bent on staying like forever at ABU cos he was feeding fat on being a unionist. It simply means these people will go to any length to siphone Nigeria. There are 3arms of govt by my little knowledge of elementary govt but cannot be equal. This administration will take blame for its failure or otherwise, they're there to checkmate d excesses of d executive same with d Judiciary. If any judge, legislator is found wanting in delivering their duty. Let them face d full wrath of d law.
Some people are arguing that some people are being persecuted, so be it. If you didn't steal they won't find anything wt you. Same will be applicable when the present govt is no more in power. Our Mumu don do ooooo.

@ Linda ikeji...this is my first comment in ur blog even though I've been reading for over a year because....most people on this blog don't know what a blog is ...a blog is to bring a topic to the table and let people discuss, share opinions and find a solution or advice depending on the nature of the topic.
I would have suggested screening posts but that'd make the site to loose the word "blog credibility" but I think u can still set a user discretion message on it to caution some people and their posts.sir Charles oputa is sharing something that's really a problem in our country and some people just post as if they don't have anything upstairs....come on people he's not talking about party or tribe here ....I think there needs to be some criteria for political selections just like choosing a university VC, its not necessary to be a graduate before u apply but, U must have been a level coordinator, an HOD and either Dean or Head faculty ...come to think of it, its not possible to lecture in a standard university with just your BSc, u can be a level coordinator without having a masters decree, ucant be an HOd with without at least a doctor added to ur initials and my people, being a dean requires at least "u have to be a reader" and that's professor in view....
The problem we have is people without any record of academical or professional record just emerge and come out to be a senator, A SENATOR? Don't u know what that means? Senator according to the Greeks is the highest and best available brains the land can produce and check history, great psychologists alcgemists physicians are senators.
I have a lot to say but I'll just cut it here but one more thing ....to govern a nation shouldn't be a rocket science for a country like Nigeria cos with 170million people, we can have the greatest 11 soccer players, we can have the greatest constructors, and we can have the greatest thinkers if we can abide with this line " THE DUE PROCESS"
