The former presidential aspirant who died in a UK hospital on Wednesday, was laid to rest in Sokoto state today July 8th. In attendance at his funeral were the Sultan of Sokoto, Alh Muhammad Sa'ad Abubakar, Emirs of Gwandu, Alh Muhammad Ilyasu Bashar and that of Argungu, Alh. Sama'ila Mera. Governors of Borno, Kebbi, Sokoto, and Zamfara States, Ministers of Justice, Abubakar Chika Malami, Aviation, Hadi Sirika, and that of Interior, General Abdulrahman Dambazau were also in attendance.
