Thank God I redeployed o! The orientation camp in Asaya-Kabba was worse than this! Such a horrible sight,I kept having nightmares after I had left that camp! NYSC if you cant provide good environment for your stupid orientation excersise then dont hold people's children to ransom in the various shit hole you call NYSC lodges or camps

I served in idah local government 2 years ago...I almost puked wen d bus that drove us from our OT camp stopped ryt in front of this place...I had to lodge in an hotel for two days before I finally got a place to squat with a Corper...I then had to get my own apartment... It's a big shame that there hasn't bin any work done yet...#BigShame
Please this program needs to be scraped. It is broken and needs to be scraped. No doubt it was a marvel idea at the initial years, but at the moment sustaining it is just not fair on the coopers. When these young graduates are subject to hash conditions and some killed all in the name of serving their nation, then those in power need to rethink and fashion a better means of instilling patroticism. When parents have had to pay for lodging and upkeep of these graduates serving their country, makes you wonder. And l won't be surprised if somebody, somewhere is actually living fat off of the coopers' plight.

i served in ife-olukotun,yagba east kogi state2010,we lived with big snakes in our corpers lodge then,it was anoda world entirely.God saved my life,Lol
NYSC is a failed experience Nigeria needs to do away with an channel all that money channeled into it to other avenues in developing the Nigerian youth!

You think this is bad? Try the corper's lodge in Onyedega, Ibaji LGA next door. Open air bathroom and toilet. No water in the dry season, swamp in the rainy season.
And it sef was better than some of the inner communities where corpers were sent to teach. Some of them were plain inacessible to anything in the rainy season, and only by motorcycle in the dry season. Just see where human beings dey waste.
Its really a shame on the corp member that sent this pics. the corp lodge in rivers state where i served was worse. It had no bathroom nor toilet but before I completed my service we (corp members & students) constructed a bathroom and toilet without any help from the school or government. That's why you are serving your father's land
