This letter is not to support Onyx or mock him in anyway but to let LIBers and the general public face the fact that some people were born this way and more are still coming. Effeminacy in men and masculinity in women is something we encounter regularly in our society. We see them in buses, on the road side, churches, mosques, television, schools. etc. They are everyhwhere, you can't escape it. Effeminacy in men and masculinity in women are no doubt associated with homosexuality which i think its normal for people to think so.But it should also be noted that certainly not all homosexual people give evidence of these characteristics. Some just got luckier than some, so dont be too quick to judge. Have you ever asked yourself why anybody would choose to be effeminate in a world that makes life miserable for effeminate people? Think about it. These people are not mad.
They were born the normal way just like you and i, They have blood running through their viens.So why mock them? The real manhood or womanhood is not measured in superficial things like the way we pronounce words, how we throw a ball, or how we cross our legs and i guess that was why Onyx was able to get the job he was interviewed for. God created us to be social creatures.
As Christians ,Muslims & Others, we should be above being advocates of societal stereotypes of "real men" and "real women". we should appreciate the wonderful diversity that God has created in us. It's not their fault they were created that way so why not just accept them and let the world rest. I know of Influencial people in Politics and in the Entertainment industry who are effeminate, blooming in their careers and touching lives.
Isn't that the essence of life? So why the headache. Is it untill they start commiting sucide? Lets rise above hate. Its not like we are staying on earth forever. We will all die and all these things wont matter again. Let me stop here because LIBers dont like reading long stories. Lol.

I have seen several post on this blog about Onyx, but after reading the last one and going through the comments, I felt the urge to write this.
First of all, one thing that caught my attention in your article was when you said, "This three set of people shaped who I am today".
No matter how you want to make yourself believe that, I will like you to know that you have the choice of defining yourself and letting people define you. I believe you've heard the saying, "Never allow people's opinion define who you're". No matter what you wrote in that article, who you're today is your choice and making...believe me, the society doesn't know who you are, they only have their opinion and it's none of their business.
Those people that mocked you in the interview room, believe me, it didn't take them more than a day to forget they met someone like you, you might have lived in a certain area where you have been mocked and criticized, the moment u pack and move from that area, my dear, you have been forgotten, nobody remembers you and nobody talks about you, you said you grew up being strong and bold, but sincerely in this aspect, you gave in to your weakness and that's because you made it your weakness in the first place.
Back in junior secondary school, there was this guy in my class that behaves like a girl,he talks like a girl and walks like a girl, I came to know that he didn't just start it, it was natural, his fellow boys mocked him, I too once told him he behaves like a girl,but all those things didn't make him think he is less a boy, till today I know him and he is still himself living his life.
Sorry to say this, but trying to say they shaped who you are is just an excuse to evade the choices you made, it's just like someone who is gay saying he became gay because he was sexually abused by a gay, truth is; it's just an excuse because he had the choice to live right no matter what trauma he experienced and the choice to become like his predator, because we all know what is right and what is wrong.
I know of a man who was sexually abused at a tender age by an uncle he liked so much, he lived with that ugly experience without his parents or anyone knowing about it, but today he is a well respected man of God, I witnessed his testimony and I was shocked.
My point: Nobody shaped you, who you are is your choice with clear evidence, you might be behaving like a girl but seriously, looking at your pictures, you don't look like a girl starting with your face, you are just a slim guy who refuse to maintain his 'boyish' looks.
Drop the crazily torn tight trousers, dress better, dress like a man and see if the same people who mocked you as an effeminate won't ask "What is wrong with him today?" Like you weren't meant to be dressing like a man.
