I think Nigeria needs to look more into hands on jobs and create a system where graduates are actually thought how to survive in the real world. It's great to be literate but most Nigerians are book smart but know nothing when it comes to the real world. We probably need more colleges, encourage volunteer positions, internship programs and that useless NYSC can be used for this purpose. Not everybody needs to be a banker, engineer, lawyer and doctor. Mechanics, construction workers etc can also be very successful if they are properly taught.

Even though I don' support this lady. I still feel I should add my 2cents that education is not always about passing maths and English. I think Nigeria needs to look more into hands on jobs and create a system where graduates are actually thought how to survive in the real world. It's great to be literate but most Nigerians are book smart but know nothing when it comes to the real world. We probably need more colleges, encourage volunteer positions, internship programs and that useless NYSC can be used for this purpose. Not everybody needs to be a banker, engineer, lawyer and doctor. Mechanics, construction workers etc can also be very successful if they are properly taught.
