"I will run again in 2011" Pastor Chris Okotie

"It was a divine call to duty to salvage our beloved country from the in-ept, corrupt and purposeless leadership of the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP). Without any doubt, I remain fully persuaded that only the emergence of a credible, visionary and progressive government can usher in a new Nigeria of our dream. And I am confident that I represent this ideal and with my fresh agenda, we can create a new nation which will take its rightful place in the comity of nations.” - Rev. CHRIS OKOTIE, Pastor of Household of God, said this morning as he officially declared his intention to vie for the presidency of Nigeria under the platform of the Fresh Democratic Party (FDP).

mr chris its only God that can lead nigeria in the right way the bible said armageddon is coming when the lord of heaven will wage war to the govt of this world anh he would take over as the ruler.if u are a man of God as u claimed u should concentrate more on winning souls for God and not involving urself in worldly things like politics.the bible say those who love the world are not of GOD,come closer to GOD and surrender your life b4 its too late.

I think he is paid to run... Would you waste money on a fruitless venture like this? Later, he would tell his followers to vote for IBB. That is the masterplan. They think Nigerians are fools... Nigeria is a big contract a la Reuben Abati.

Nigerians never cease to amaze me! We use the same mouth to pray for change and then like the , we refuse to recognise change when we see it. Must this country be ruled by the same crop of people over and over again? What is wrong if credible people who have not been soiled by politics indicate interest to run for public offices? I support Pastor Chris and other well-meaning Nigerians, even though 'unknown' to campaign for public offices.

the only problem i have is that if he keeps saying God sent him on this job and then he doesnt win the election, what does that tell us about God?ok,maybe the idea is not for him to win now but to prepare for the victory later,i am not the Holy spirit and only HIM knows.however i do think that if a man of God wants to run for election then all Christians ought to come together to form one party in unity to support one of their own and not being scattered in different parties claiming to make a change then and then alone can we be certain that this man is from God as the Holy Spirit will bear witness with our own Spirit.
