Beko Ransome Kuti's Statue

A statue of Dr. Beko Ransome Kuti has been erected - fours years after he died.

He stood for Justice and equality so he definitely deserves the honour, but my question is - where's Fela's statue? That's the one I want to see...Abi my people, wetin una think?

Once Beko is erected, Fela is happy in his grave because he was very close to his brother. Some family members said Fela and Beko one time were sharing the same bank account to show you how much they loved and stood by each other.

Nope they didnt actually share the same account.Beko was more like Fela's accountant.Whenever he needed money,He had to talk to Beko.It was a way to control his spending habits.
